For those of you saying WWE are messing with Sting's legacy, let's look at the facts. His first match is a highly hyper Wrestlemania match, his second PPV is for the title. He took sick bumps and put over a top talent.
Look. I went nuts when Sting lost against Triple H. But, I calmed down and realized that Ive gotten to watch him wrestle a few more times in front of a huge audience in storylines that are worth something
In tna he was doing random stuff and putting over younger talent. How is this any worse? It's still a treat. I loved it.

Sting looked great until he came off the top rope. And his back and arm were pretty bruised up after going through the table. Still very entertaining up until the doctor came in.

Sting did a HELL of a job. I don't know what 56 year old goes through the table, takes 2 corner powerbombs, jumps off the top rope to the floor..... If that man didn't deserve the right to say he was WWE Champion just once, even for a few minutes, then I don't know who does..... I don't know what happened at the end with the doctor, if that was legit or part of the finish, but Sting wrestled an awesome match. This. If there ever was a time to chant "You still got it" that match was it. I don't know anyone other than Funk that would have been up for a dive and a table spot at that age.

What was the point of even having this match? Literally no other reason than just to piss on Sting's career one more time. Tbh I wish sting stayed far away from wwe ugh

Sting almost dies and Undertaker pretty much almost dies every time he wrestles now.....hopefully this put all that Sting/Taker stuff to rest. Sting was just acting Taker actually dies every match Sting legit got gassed and couldn't stand up. He wasn't acting at all.

It's No Mercy 2002 again. Minus the sick blade job. The ONLY way this one can hang with the original is epic storytelling. Physically, there's not a chance in hell Taker can do what he did in 2002.

Sting looked great till he took that power-bomb in the corner. Not sure if his age caught up to him or if he was seriously hurt. But either way, he busted his ass.

How is this any worse? It's still a treat. I loved it. The only problem is that he may never win another WWE match. He lost to Triple H, he lost to Seth.....he got a win on RAW, two if you count the DQ against Big Show.....but if Sting's next and possibly LAST WWE Match is WM32 against Undertaker, Sting is NOT winning that match either. Which means he ends his WWE in-ring career at either 1-3 or 2-3, again, not sure if the DQ on RAW against Show counted. And now Sting SURLEY will never win the WWE Title. We never thought he would get A show, he's not getting TWO. I just wish they'd make him look a little stronger with winning matches. WWE always treats his APPEARANCES like historic moments and they talk up how big of an Icon and legend he is....and then he loses. It just makes him look like his character is a guy who talks the talk and then can't get the job done. But wins/losses aside,....Sting was awesome in that match tonight. Best match of the night, better than the Rollins/Cena match.

Night Of Champions was good tonight and gets a 8/10 from me. Every match was good except for the Divas title match, and the Tag team title match which bored me. But at least Charlotte won the Divas Championship in that match. Match of the night would probably be Cena vs. Rollins, and Sting did great out there against Rollins.

Until otherwise proven false, I firmly believe that Sting was suppose to win and then drop it to Sheamus. I believe Sting got legit hurt/gassed and they changed everything on the fly that ending was way too choppy.

I hope Kane's Ring Pyro is still able to go off on those pointless Apple Earbud-lookin' ass Ring Post Cameras.

Sting is old. This match proved it. Anyone who can actually try to justify otherwise must be either crazy, or stuck in 1997 when Sting was clearly still in his prime. The Sting we saw tonight was doing well, I will say that. But the match clearly went too long, and Sting was clearly taking too many bumps that he shouldn't have. Sting was legit gassed, and some what knocked out from the last corner powerbomb.
As for the Sting vs. Taker match that everyone seems to want to see..... put it to bed now. Nobody wants to see that. It would be an absolute train wreck at Wrestlemania - or any PPV for that matter.

I believe Sting got legit hurt/gassed and they changed everything on the fly that ending was way too choppy. I don't think Sting was ever booked to win, no matter if the injury at the end was real or fake. The reason I think that is because of KANE. If Sting was booked to beat Rollins, and then Sheamus was going to beat Sting....why was Kane even there and in costume? Unless Kane was originally supposed to cost Rollins the Title allowing Sting to win, and then Sheamus comes out and cashes in on Sting....but I think that's a stretch.

Am I the only one who REALLY misses J&J? They should give them to another heel who needs an edge.
