I saw some good things on the PPV, enough that I'm not going to take a dump on it for the cluster*ck finish to the ME.
The good: Kevin Owens beating Ryback for the ICC belt gets a thumbs up. Charlotte getting the Divas title gets a thumbs up. New Day retains which means more of their feud with the Dudleys. Surprisingly, I'm all for it because the New Day promos are getting better each week and we all know eventually the Dudleys will take the titles from them so milk the chase for a while longer. Seth Rollins really went old school tonight basically wrestling for an hour and looking good throughout. He also made Sting look better than any AARP member has a right to in a main event title match on a PPV. No disrespect to Sting but he is old enough to join the AARP and I don't think he should be anywhere near the WWE title at this point in his career. It served a purpose to put a really big feather in Seth's cap but Sting is now 0-2 in the WWE. IIRC, he signed for 3 matches which means he probably returns at WM and gets a win before walking off into the sunset (and HoF).
The bad: Jericho's surprise appearance was a bit of a waste. John Cena has a title yet again...ugh. I can't wait for his usual "The Champ is here!" promo tomorrow. I absolutely hate teased MITB cash-ins. Kane's return should have been saved for Raw tomorrow night. I would have been happy to have the PPV end with Rollins standing victorious while Sting makes his way backstage.

To put over Seth Rollins. The guy is already over That theory makes no sense, Well, when he brags of who he has beaten, the likes of Cena, Reigns, Ambrose.... It all sounds good and current. But with Stings name on that list, he sounds much more accomplished.

Rewatching the Sting match and I'm almost positive he got a concussion on that first powerbomb in the corner.

Sting is old. This match proved it. Anyone who can actually try to justify otherwise must be either crazy, or stuck in 1997 when Sting was clearly still in his prime. The Sting we saw tonight was doing well, I will say that. But the match clearly went too long, and Sting was clearly taking too many bumps that he shouldn't have. Sting was legit gassed, and some what knocked out from the last corner powerbomb. As for the Sting vs. Taker match that everyone seems to want to see..... put it to bed now. Nobody wants to see that. It would be an absolute train wreck at Wrestlemania - or any PPV for that matter. HE'S 56 YEARS OLD! Nobody else on this PPV took more bumps or more dangerous bumps than STING! If he did get hurt for real at the end, can you really BLAME HIM! Clearly he can still go, but he was taking a TON of damage! He took a worse beating than Cena did! I thought the match tonight was awesome. Best match of the night. I'm confused by what happened at the end with the doctor, but regardless of that, Sting busted his ass and did an AMAZING job.

Sting/Rollins was the match of the night by some distance. Not sure how anyone can complain because a 56 year old got gassed... jeez.

Sting was clearly ed up. That table spot was unecessary. They should have at least cleared it, he might have hit his head on that monitor. He might have gotten a concussion which explains the weird finish. I'm glad Rollins lost the US title and even more glad he kept the WWE title. 2015 is the year of Seth Rollins and it's almost surreal.

To put over Seth Rollins. The guy is already over That theory makes no sense, They had Rock put over an established Cena. Undetaker put over an established Brock in 2002. Seth beating Sting is a huge notch in his belt.

Sting wasn't ever going to win the title tonight. If their plan was to have Sheamus cash in on Sting like some are thinking then they would have just had him case in on Seth instead of having Kane come down in costume. The way it ended was always going to be the way it ended with Seth retaining and Sheamus not actually cashing in.

why doesn't anyone understand that Vince didn't hire Sting to make him look good and give him all these awards and accolades, etc.
Sting DIDNT WANT TO BE IN THE WWE. Sting burned Vince & Co. 15 years ago...why would Vince all of a sudden want to bring Sting in and make him the WWE Champion? He already has a great career in wrestling, and they know it...the fans know it. He'll get in the Hall of Fame for sure, he's got figures...t-shirts, dvds...they are getting everything they wanted out of Sting
Money.
And I love Sting, he's great. But he should have sucked it up and joined the WWE YEARS ago instead of completely wasting his career in TNA for a decade. I guarantee he would have had the WWE title at least once along with some other lower level runs too if he had been around. But Vince has proven over and over and over and over and over again that WCW was never as good as WWE and he won. He's not giving WCW the nod to ANYTHING and quite frankly, shouldn't have to.

People still don't understand. Stop getting mad. If sting was not happy with his direction it wouldn't be going down they way it has been. I'm sure he has more pull in his direction than anyone. Stop acting like y'all know him personally or its apart of your own legacy. Stop blaming the wwe Vince steph Linda hhh cm punk etc lol. It's nobodies fault.

I'll say this about Nikki Bella Dispite All The Negative criticism she's been getting I for one and proud of what she's accomplished.
I remember back in the day I HATED the bellas but ever since they returned they have indeed improved so much in there wrestling that as of now I can enjoy them and look forward to them when the step in the ring.Nikki has put alot of hard work into the divas division she's been the best female ring worker to have a great match and it shows. She reminds me of a young trish stratus trying to prove you deserve your spot and she did just that.
Nikki(and brie as well) have come a long way and I have to say she won me over tonight even though her title run could've been much better I can atleast appreciate what she has done with what was giving to her.Shes a great in ring worker and I'm proud of her I really am.

Sting did an interview with Rollingstone this week and they asked him if he thought he should be winning or losing in WWE, especially to young studs like Rollins and Sting said "my time is over....it's not about Sting anymore".
Sting is just in WWE to have fun, try and entertain the fans, make money, and give back to the business. A clean win over Sting does WONDERS for Seth Rollins career. That's a win they can never take away from him.
Would I have loved for Sting to win the Title? ABSOLUTELY! But do I understand why he didn't? Yes.
And I don't think WHATEVER happend with Sting maybe getting injured had ANYTHING to do with the finish. They do NOT change finishes on the fly. They either stop them IMMEDIATELY like when they stopped the Daniel Bryan match on RAW, or they have the person who was supposed to win go to the finish IMMEDIATELY.
When Steve Austin broke his neck they weren't like "Austin can't move, just have Owen cover him". No. They had Austin still win with the weakest most awkward roll up ever.
I firmly believe that Sting was never supposed to win. I'm just confused as to what happened at the end with the doctor. Maybe it's an angle that will explain why he lost.
Maybe Sting comes out tomorrow and says, despite his best efforts, at his age his body is catching up with him and he's not able to do what he used to be able to do. Maybe his body is telling him it's time....he can say he would have loved to have been the WWE Champion, but he's done pretty much everything else, and wrestled every Legend and Icon that the business has to offer.....
As he attempts to retire.....Undertaker can come out and stare him down and say "you haven't wrestled everyone just yet". And this can set up Undertaker vs. Sting at WM32 if Brock doesn't kill Taker at HIAC.
I mean, RAW is in Texas.....it's possible.
