The leg sleeves are among my biggest issues with Mattel. They make the double jointed knee completely useless, and are often used on guys they don't belong on. I swap them out whenever I can. I've always wondered why they're on guys who don't even wear them...

one area where Jakks reigns over mattel is kneepads. their rubber style pads were amazing. Did you like their original style pads or their later style pads better? The originals were cool but could get pretty loose at times. The Mattel pads just suck. Stiff as hell. Why bother with elbow and knee articulation if you're just going to restrict it with the pad? Can you imagine a wrestler actually wearing pads like that? They would move like Giant Gonzales. honestly i liked both styles, didn't really favor one over the other.

Triple H is the only guy who should have the leg sleeves. Make a new one for BNB, Cesaro, etc. HHH actually recently switched to the small knee pads

Yes, I do hate the hard pads. They are almost impossible to get off, and don't get me started about getting them back on if you switch them.

They add the kneepad and paint underneath black where it should be skin, so you're forced to leave them on. (Nice idea to cheap out and skip the leg tattoo altogether)

Next RSC exclusive for the nerdiest collectors: soft kneepads.

I agree, it's one of the problems I have with Mattel. I think the leg sleeves of doom are alright for certain wrestlers though. However, for guys like RVD not acceptable. I also agree with the mid length knee pads, they need one thats the same size as the orton ones but with the opening in the back for guys like sheamus, the rock, bo dallas, orton etc. One other minor thing that bugged me was the lack of kneepads on the fb HBKs.
