Is anyone else's biggest pet peeve from the WWE Mattel line their ridiculous hard plastic knee and elbow pads? They legitimately void articulation in some cases. It's even spreading over to the divas like Paige and Charlotte. If they used that new material that they make the matadores jacket / Ambrose hoodie with , I think they'd be way better.

I hate those huge ones they've had since the beginning that no one has ever worn. Might as well remove the knee joints with those thingd on.

If they make them softer, it would be splendid

Never had an issue with smaller pads. Those giant ones however make joints pointless. I wish they'd get rid of those permanently.

The leg sleeves are among my biggest issues with Mattel. They make the double jointed knee completely useless, and are often used on guys they don't belong on. I swap them out whenever I can.

Softer knee and elbow pads would be sweet.

Even though most people want them gone completely, the dreaded "leg sleeves" are accurate in some cases - for ex, any new Cesaro's should definitely have them, like below: I do agree they should be made of a more pliable material, but the sizing is fine to me, when it's accurate to the attire.

Triple H is the only guy who should have the leg sleeves. Make a new one for BNB, Cesaro, etc.

they need to make a new knee pad mold that sorta looks like what they give orton, but open in the back.. i know we have one like that but its to small\short. many guys wear what i mean. i think everyone whos wearing the orton kneepads, have an open side in the back of it (in real life) .. like orton bo ryback neville titus sheamus

one area where Jakks reigns over mattel is kneepads. their rubber style pads were amazing. Did you like their original style pads or their later style pads better? The originals were cool but could get pretty loose at times. The Mattel pads just suck. Stiff as hell. Why bother with elbow and knee articulation if you're just going to restrict it with the pad? Can you imagine a wrestler actually wearing pads like that? They would move like Giant Gonzales.

If they made them softer, they would split. Just look at Cena's armbands. Every one of those things have split on me, even after only a couple months. They should've just done what Toybiz did and molded the pads onto the figures from the jump. But I guess that might increase costs since you have to increase the number of molded parts.

And hopefully they'd be made to take the pressure of the bend.

I've yet to have any pads from Mattel break on me, but I agree that the long one's kinda suck on certain figures. I never really mind it on Wade Barrett or Trips.

If Darren Young and X-Pac can get individual knee pad molds made I think they can invest in one more generic one that they can get much more use out of. I'd like to see a combo of the mediums plus paint for some guys, kinda like they did for Billy Gunn.
