I think that we are gonna see the real 'Divas Revolution' after Night of Champions once they can get past Nikki replacing AJ as the longest reigning champion.

I didn't mind the match or the ending. Gotta remember WWE makes money off subscriptions to the network and off those who pay for a PPV still. This Divas title match last night, was nothing more than a long infomercial. It was used to generate excitement for the rematch and to build the importance of the title. Thus making certain fans buy the network to see Nikki get her comeuppance.
Also need to remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. It's going to takes months (maybe longer) to completely reinvigorate the entire division. Can't revive someone from a 5 year coma and expect them to go back to work the next day. And you can't revive a dormant division and expect it to be rebuilt overnight. It's going to have ups and downs. It's going to have growing pains occasionally. But as long as they continue to believe in it, change will happen. Fans just need to be patient.

Also, anyone else notice the lack of consistency? The Bellas pulled twin magic at Money in the Bank. Paige pinned Brie. Brie revealed that she wasn't Nikki and the match continued leading to Nikki winning with a rollup. Here, the same thing happens but it is a DQ. Why wouldn't this match continue like that one? that's my main issue with it. HORRIBLE writing.

This whole divas revolution has turned to crap. Nikki is longest reigning champ is a joke. Instead of focusing on Sasha, Becky, Bayley, Paige, Emma, we get stuck with that horrible excuse of a champion Nikki. No title defense in months and the WWE expects us to just praise her.

Wow you literally said everything so well and I have not more I say than I totally agree with you. It pisses me off so badly how WWE treats the women!

It was never actually about "revolutionizing" the women's division. It was simply about making the general audience believe that WWE was championing the women's movement in professional sports. They aren't, but they can tell you they are like nobody's business.
The only thing its done, in reality, is shine the spotlight a little brighter so we can see how bad they are at handling female talent.

Nikki Bella's 296th day reign as the Diva's Champion is one of the greatest day's in the history of our sport. Nikki Bella is not only fearless but is at the top of her throne.

I am 100% confident Nikki will beat Charlotte on Sunday with some kind of dirty tactics when the referee's back is turned. And Steph won't come out and overturn the decision despite her doing so on Raw.

Thats also true they saw what Ronda and the Williams sisters was doing so they wanted to cash in on the moment.Which is pretty damn funny considering this is the same company that let a man in drag win a women's battle royal at the biggest Stage of them all.

Knowing WWE they will probably make her reign 435 days so she can be the longest reigning champion of the modern era.
I have high hopes for the revolution but last nights finish just felt so hollow.
I would have started the revolution with Natalya winning the title and claiming that every time she steps in the ring she'll defend it. Kind of like John Cena's US open challenge. However at the start she'll be making quick work of her opponents ala Ronda Rousey and really get the sharp shooter over as a devastating submission. Then she'll work her way up to more competitive opponents such as Paige but still beat them. This is when the NXT call ups would happen and I would choose Charlotte beat her for the title.
I'm not a Bella hater but the fact that Nikki is bragging about her title reign while last week on Total divas she was complaining about it seems rather silly.

Also the little extra weight Paige has put on has done her body good and is giving me a Divas Revolution in my pants.

Everything about the Charlotte/Nikki booking was bad. Why did Steph not restart the match? The same exact thing happened at MITB with Paige, but the match got restarted after she pinned Brie. FFS, the Authority literally restarted the main event only one hour later. Also, why is it the Bellas can always win using Twin Magic, but they can't lose using it? And to top it off if Charlotte wins this Sunday it'll be cheapened since we saw her "win" just six nights earlier.
The most logical outcome of this storyline would've been to have Nikki fail at becoming the longest reigning champ. The whole point of bringing up the NXT girls was because Paige wanted to put an end to the Bella's reign of terror... but Nikki's already achieved her goal of becoming the longest reigning champion so she won't even get her rightful comeuppance. Now Charlotte will probably win at NOC and it won't mean nearly as much as it would have last night. And if she loses we'll get to hear the commentators talk about how "dominant" Nikki Bella is as champ some more.
