According to Pwinsider.com, Tough Enough finalist ZZ reported to the WWE Performance Center and was training in the ring with the developmental roster yesterday. While not officially announced, it looks as if he has signed a deal (likely developmental one) with WWE. Once he lost the show, he had noted in several interviews that he intended to continue to pursue a future in the wrestling business.
Well, between possibly signing him and Amanda, it looks like they are taking the bottom of the barrel from the Tough Enough contestants.

The thing though. Zz was crap at the wrestling part. But he has the personality. Which is the part that can't be taught. He can drop pounds and learn the moves. So if he can actually dedicate himself to getting into better shape and wanting to learn. I'm all for it.

From what I saw of him (and Amanda), I don't know why. Neither of 'em impressed me.

Will likely be the next Zack Ryder. Has the personality, is over with the fans, wins a mid-card title, then drops back into no-man's land.

I gotta agree with what I've read somewhere else, but I saw a lot of Dusty Rhodes in him...

He was at the bottom of the TE pool but that personality is something that a good 90% of the other TE contestants didn't have. He obviously should not have won, but there is no reason why he can't learn and develop the skills to go with it. My point in my original post was more towards the people who fawn over the fact that Amanda was signed (while being very bad and only liked it because it wasn't Sara), but hated ZZ during the show's run (who also was pretty bad).

Guy seemed like a bit of a fraud to me, and they called him out for it on a few occasions on Tough Talk. Don't think this will amount to anything. He's built to be a perennial reality TV contestant.

With Amanda I think she's a fine fit too. She has a way to go for the wrestling. But she had the look they want. And they portrayed her in the perfect total divas catty bitch persona. So the will get the drama they want out of that.

What about Patrick Clark?
I can't believe they'd sign ZZ but not Patrick.....

What about Patrick Clark? I can't believe they'd sign ZZ but not Patrick..... I personally felt like HE felt he deserved it more. That he already had an ego. He was physically gifted and had a large knowledge of wrestling, but other than that he was as bland as bran flakes.

I can understand hiring Amanda. She's smoking hot. Like... a lot.
But ZZ is a bum. I liked him at first, but phoning in his time on Tough Enough was insulting to everyone. He did the bare minimum and I lost all respect for him. I'd be annoyed if I thought he'd last long. But he won't.

Ugh. I don't like ZZ, wish they'd sign Tanner instead!

If this is true then what was the point of the show. Zzz is a nice kid, but I don't think he has what it takes. I'm surprised they didn't sign Patrick and Mada yet. Mada and Josh would make an awesome and powerful tag team.

The dude has heart and a likability to him. People forget that he is only 18! Give the guy a chance to figure out the in-ring stuff, this is great news.

I'm surprised, but that's nice if true. Like I said during Tough Enough, I think he'd make a great comedy jobber; I don't think he'll go any further than that, but that's fine...they could use a replacement for Santino.

I dunno, he didn't seem that bland, but maybe that's because you put anyone next to Tanner and they seem like Shawn Michaels in the charisma department.
