Has there been any Legends Macho Man Randy Savage prototype figures? not sure about this, but one dude is asking $800 or BO for 1 of supposedly 2 prototypes that supposdly exist.
Thoughts? I think its scam city, but the seller has 2000+ positive feedback y risk his ebay reputation by selling a fix up as proto?
just type macho man prototype in ebay

as they only announced up to legends 7 and looks like an easy custom to make, probably fake.

Not sure what to think. The logos on the tights look like Mattel's work and not like printed out decals. Doesn't look hand painted like a custom either. Wish there was a side picture to see if there's any evidence of torso cracking. The seller seems pretty legit too. Crazy asking price regardless. Here's the pix:

My guess is it's a fake. Anyone could paint/decals figures very easily now days and pass them off as "prototypes".

I believe this is legit.. Seen it a few years back in 2011 i guess when i just started collecting. It came from the same seller who sold the legit jeff hardy fig. The asking price was way below $100 though.

As Ben Kenobi once (sort of) said:
"That's no prototype. That's a custom."

Doing its real. All the Mattel proto figures are colored like the Bulldog/M$M we saw from SDCC. Protos from Mattel don't look like a finished product.
Also, the logos could be pad printed. Some customizers have done that I the past.

Whether it's real or not, that looks like a pretty basic custom to make. I wouldn't blow 800 on it.

It's pretty safe to say it's fake. Those legs were used on the All Stars Macho Man that came in a two pack with John Morrison: Looks like a very elaborate repaint of that figure to me.

My point was that they don't look like they're ready to be put on a store shelf, and the colors are off. Sweet Warrior, by the way.

There are some other prototypes. A Elite 2 Batista type figure but with orange tights and a Rey Mysterio Elite in black that later got released as a basic.
