So with this hurricane on its way... any news on if the MSG show is still happening? I don't expect it to get canceled but we just got a state of emergency issued in NJ...

It hasnt even hit florida yet has it? Thought it was still in the gulf? Im blocked by the mountains so I never pay attention to Hurricanes but I cant imagine it getting all the way to NY in less then 48hrs.

I would say there's no way it reaches New York by Saturday... Then again I'm nota meteorologist. But considering they haven't made any statement one way or another it would appear they don't believe it to be much of an issue.

It seems very unlikely it will impact the show in any way.
But, if it did, there's two options:
1. Cancel it. 2. Send the whole crew to Bangor, where the B crew is, and run it there. It's roughly a 6.5 hour trip by car, significantly less if they were just charter a plane. There's an airport in town less than two miles from the venue.

I don't think it's going to hit NY in less than two days, maybe it'll hit here soon, but unless it speeds up suddenly, it probably won't go near NY by Saturday.

As of right now the storm's not even set to hit land at all, and by the time it reaches here it'll be Monday at the earliest.

CATEGORY. HURRICANES ARE NOT TORNADOS YOU CURSED NORTHERNER. Had to fix. That would be pretty crappy if it was called off for weather. Gotta consider the safety of the fans attending the venue though. It may be warm and secure inside but there's no guaruntee they won't be blown away on the way home. In this country, we call off football games if there's black ice outside the stadium. Not because it affects the game, but to protect the 20,000 people who could go down like dominoes

Either way, I'm glad to see the show will go on without a storm on the way. Though that could be an interesting atmosphere, just like the snowed in Raw was.
