I've see certain people show off their customs before. Some figures have been so good, I wish Mattel really made them. Others I think "why did you ruin that figure."
So for me I want to know, how do I make a great custom? What paint to use? How do I get decal (tattoo, tight design)? And any other info you want to share.
An idea I had was to make a custom figure (elite) of myself. What I would have liked to look like if I was a wwe superstar.

If you don't know what you're doing, you'll likely give yourself the "why did you ruin that figure?" result.
There's some guys in the fixup and custom threads that are legit. Axehenning and deepfreeze do orders I think. There are others i think do as well. Stoptheclocks is fantastic as well but he doesn't sell his items
I'd read through the threads you were linked first. Then proceed from there
