I remember years ago they had a contest that someone can create a wrestler and the company took the design and made it real.
Company now a days have options to create a custom look for their products like Nike id, YourReebok, custom Converse. I hope that Mattel can create a system to make an Elite figure with a look that would be unique to me. I'm not asking for them to make the contest again. I want a figure that thousands of people can buy if they choose to make one. Maybe use tools like create-a-wrestle where we can put things together, like color, face paint/helmets/hats, pants/tights/trunks and even accessories ect ect
I would pay great money for one of my own. Even for the MOC collectors, it can come in a unique box design unlike the other figures produced.
What do you think of the idea? Would you pay for create a wrestler of your own? How would that figure look like?

Brilliant idea but unfortunately it won't happen. I'd love to make my CAW roster on the WWE games (there's about 80+ wrestlers lol ). Unfortunately it will be to expensive for one, I'd buy one if it was under £100. I wouldn't mind if they allowed us to create our own unique (1 of 1 but that would be really expensive). Unfortunately Mattel would say there CAW line is your answer but we all know we can't create our creations exactly as they may not have certain parts. My first unique figure would be myself (It would have more designs on the tights though, unfortunately the creation suite was limited on WWE 2K15) Good idea

There's no possible way this could be cost effective. For the price you'd have to pay, they wouldn't sell enough. And there'd be so many restrictions on what you could have done (because people would try to use it to make Owen or whatever) that it would simply not be probable. your best bet for something like this is finding a talented sculptor/customizer to do something for you. That would probably end up cheaper anyways.

Not so much in terms CAW but maybe more like edit existing parts. Being a Warrior fan I'll use him as an example: he has hundreds of looks/color combos that I'd want to see made but I know many/most won't be made. It would be cool to be able to edit the colors of existing molds and designs essentially the same as Nike ID does. They give you the template that must be followed in terms of which shoes, colors, parts can be edited and you make your own from that. This would be the most cost efficient and realistic ID for figures. I also have no interest in owning any figures that are fictitious or anything really that isn't a flashback pre-2000 minus a select few current guys.
Just thinking about it now... Macho, Shawn (singles and Rockers), Bret, LOD/Road Warriors (if they get resigned), Demolition (again if resigned), Razor... There's a ton that used the same or similar designs in just different color combos.

If I could make myself into a Mattel figure I definitely would. Just make sure it is on the Elite Fandango torso to give me an ego boost.

They'd probably still say no if you requested a Benoit figure to be made.

It would cost an arm and a leg, so for that reason, I say no. Using NikeID costs big money and isn't all that cool once you get the finished product in my opinion.

I would love to be able to do this for some figures. But it won't ever happen. the one guy mentioned NikeID. Nike charges $35-45 more for international shipping so it can get really pricey for a shoe that costs $150 already. That would take the price of a figure way up. They would about $40 for an Elite and $30 for a basic. The packaging would be standard and no guarantee it would come in great shape or not.
That being said, I would love to make a few guys in various attires and color schemes. Ric Flair in purple, Surfer Sting in various colors, Warrior. After that, who would you choose? The paint apps would be limited to something they already use and same with the patterns. For now, I will hope and suggest what we might bet. Like an HBK with BLue/Black stripes to go with a new Diesel, Dusty Rhodes in black trunks and red/white boots and the like.

Like someone said earlier, it would have to be similar to NikeID, in which you edit the paint and accessories to go with certain molds, etc. This could work out, but the price for a Mattel Elite Creations Figure (Not the real name, but whatever) would be quite a bit.
Say a regular elite is priced at $20, if you ordered the custom Mattel creation, it would be $50-$75, this is based on NikeID, which prices Lebron Sneakers at $245 for ID and $200 for regular, and Cortez IDs at $115 and Basic Cortez shoes at $65.
