I'm recently going to receive the Mattel Naomi. Her face and outfit are great but her body is the same as Paige. In real life she has a lot of hips and butt, but in her figure she has none of those. Natalya too has hips but no shape in the figure. Beth Phoeinx/kaitlyn has big arms in real life but had the same arms as Kelly Kelly. The point of this all is not to look like some perv, but to express how basic these bodies are.
The he male wrestler have a lot of different body types like Yokozuna, Bam Bam, Daniel Bryan, Brock Lesner ect. They can produce different/accurate body parts but they don't do it for the divas. Divas would look 10 times better if the body was done as accurate as the face and costume.
What do you think?
(Maybe someone can tag MattelDesignTeam on this)

It's a matter of cost, surely. If the budget allowed for Mattel to produce accurate body molds for each Diva then I'm sure we'd have them.

And then we would lose accessories, paint details, articualtion, etc.
99% of the time the answer to the question is BUDGET.
Does a new ass mold for naomi mean enough to you to not get that nicely done attire shes in?
Would bigger boobs on nikki mean enough to not get the detail we got on her last figure?
Would a taller paige be enough to miss out on the 2 belts she came with?
All no for me. Im fine with the divas looking how they do.

A lot of the males have different molds. Big E's thick thighs, Tensai's torso, The Sheild's molded pocket pants, Kane's new torso. So there is a budget to make changes in the basic figures mold. Since divas release in the basic lines too, then they're is an opportunity to have slight differences in the divas mold too.

How many times does a male superstar get made in figure form? Count the kanes, cenas, ortons, punks, etc. You can make a new mold if you think you will get 20 uses out of it. Sometimes, like a tensai, it doesnt work out that way. But with a diva, you figure they know they won't use it more than 2 or 3 times. Not worth the time or money really.

Superstars come in different molds and still keep all the cool deco. So I would think if divas changed too that will be able to keep all their paint deco too. Ryback, Kane, RvD, Rey Mysterio are examples of different looks and a lot of deco. Doesn't seem money didn't hurt when making those superstars.

Have to agree with you that the same generic body on all divas isn't cutting it, not sure if they have the budget to make new molds unless they can use them on several figures.

Who else would need her molds ever? Or kharma? And not many time will you need a booty like naomi or a legs like stacy kiebler. And how many times can you make the same diva? Even aj who was insanely popular got like 5 or 6 figures total. Cena gets that in 6 months. Its just more financially smart to do it how they do. It would be nice to have perfect figures, but just like the ryback is too small and ziggler is too big stuff...it just isnt that important.

Then you have to look at Rikishi, Yokozuna, Big Boss Man those molds are used once (twice for Yoko, maybe Rikishis mold for the upcoming Umaga) If they look good, itsells. I'm not asking for anything big like accessories just new molds.

Kaitlyn's figure does not have the same arms as Kelly Kelly.
The Divas figures have a lot to unique molds and I don't think they are 'cookie cutter' as you do. I would imagine percentage wise, the Diva figures have as many unique molds of the men. Just recently: Lana, Stephanie x2, Paige's first figure, Summer Rae, Charlotte and the upcoming Sasha Banks all have plenty of unique molds/parts.

I see where you're coming from. But to be fair, the new Naomi uses different parts than her first figure did. That's probably why her new figure doesn't look as proportionate to her as the one pictured above did. Also, considering all of the Diva figures that Mattel has churned out this year, they've done a pretty good job of making each one stand out and look different, even if their height wasn't spot on. But I am curious as to how Mattel will tackle the bigger women, such as Nia Jax and maybe Tamina (if they ever update her last figure, anyway).

Naomi's butt would be 50% of the figure's budget.

I totally agree, seeing the same body molds is annoying as well as boring

Paige needs bigger boobs. Paige just needs her boobs to be more in my face. Or did you mean her figure? Things may have just got awkward...

With how many divas are released, it probably is not worth making multiple different molds.
They probably didnt expect adults to critique bust size of an action figure.
