I've always been a Sony guy, but I've come into some extra cash since I've gotten rid of my figures .. I've been wanting to play some of their exclusives for years anyway and Target is having a deal where if you buy an X Box, you get Fallout 4 with it.
What are the pluses of an X Bone? I've heard it will have backwards compatibility soon and that you can change your online ID whenever you want. I like that a lot.

I'm a fanboy for Microsoft, so I could talk your ear off about the One.
It's legit the whole package. An entire entertainment system all in one. You get your basic apps that everything has now, but you get the exclusive games, a far better online gaming community (sorry, Sony) plus the whole entertainment feature with cable, and now if you don't have a DVR you will soon be able to record TV shows on your XBox anyways? Sounds chill.
Plus backwards compatibility is going to be huge when they actually put big games not named Fallout 3 on there in the months to come.

Recording TV sounds awesome as I have to share the DVR with the family. Only reason I am partial to Sony these days is because of how much I love Uncharted. I'd keep my PS4 just for that honestly.

If there are games you want, get an Xbone. No other feature on any game console is as important as the games themselves. I wouldn't own all three current gen consoles if there weren't games on each that I wanted to play. Though, I do regret buying a Wii U, but that's a story for another time.

Also it costs $15 to change your name.

I have the Xbox One and love it, tons of games I love playing on it. Halo, Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, just to name my favorites. There's something for everyone I think.
Though I've always been a big Xbox fan.

I have an Xbox One and it's basically a paperweight. Rare Replay and Killer Instinct are the only exclusives worth a damn.

Halo 5 is pretty good. New Tomb Raider is good (though only a times exclusive.) I have all three current consoles, and the PS4 definitely gets the majority of my play. I was a major fan of the 360, and preferred it over the PS3 greatly. But to me Microsoft has really taken a step back with the One from the 360. The UI is still kind of a clunky mess, the Kinect mostly sucks, and it has shown to generally have lower graphics standards than the PS4. I buy the exclusives on the One, but everything else I get on the PS4 currently. If that gives you any perspective.

Virtually unplayable due to the motion sickness that the horrific camera causes. I say this as someone who considers Dead Rising 1 to be in their top 10 games of all time, and has played it through at least 50 times (and loved every second of Case Zero, Case West, OTR and DR2). Sunset Overdrive seemed ok from what I played of it, but not worth my time when there are so many better games out there. Bart, if you want my advice, and I think we have fairly similar tastes then get a Wii U. The online is free, and the exclusive library of games it has to offer is second to none. Yeah, you can buy 100 games on the Xbox One or PS4, but none of them will keep you hooked for as long as something like Smash, Mario Kart or Splatoon will. I currently have 18 games on my Wii U. I have 6 on my Xbox One, and 2 of them are awful. PS4 will have Shenmue and SF5, so unless you are a huge fan of Rareware then I'd strongly suggest that you didn't bother.

The WiiU is fine if you like the Nintendo exclusives and aren't interested in third party games. Though if you have a PS4 already that isn't a big issue likely. But if you really like the Nintendo exclusives, the WiiU is fine. The online is free, but cumbersome. If you aren't into their exclusives, then it's hard to recommend the WiiU. Though it is hard for me to recommend a XBO if you already have a PS4 as well. Unless you just really want to play the handful of exclusives as well. The real question is, do you want to spend that money to play a handful of games on either console?

The real question is, do you want to spend that money to play a handful of games on either console? Basically my policy is: Get Nintendo, and get either xbox OR PS. They're 99% the same console, and there is usually only 2 or 3 games at a maximum that the other console owner will be missing out on. Obviously if someone doesn't care about Nintendo's IPs then they don't need the Nintendo. But I know Bart at least loves Zelda, so I'm sure he's a fan of other Nintendo games too.
