Man, this is a genuine shame. Nick was awesome and a true gem of the territory days. I loved his work in Japan.

To tell the truth, not very familiar with him. Still a shame to hear.

Quite a shame. He was a wrestler's wrestler. And he always carried himself with class & dignity when attending public signings. Ever since I can remember, he always wore black slacks, a white turtleneck & a blazer. He had a long life and a stellar career. Rest peacefully, Mr. Bockwinkel. You've earned it.

If you've never seen any of his stuff, search him up on Youtube. Incredible technical wrestler and one of the all time greats. I literally said just last week how I'd like a fig of him too. RIP.

Sad to hear that. Watched him wrestle Curt Hennig a couple of times in AWA and really enjoyed his style. Super promo guy as well, cool as a cucumber on the mic. R.I.P

No!!!.....Bockwinkle was one of the first heels i couldn't jeer as a kid. He just came off so intelligent and above the "common good guys" and the fans, that i thought, hell this guy IS right! Lol......He was such a pleasure to watch perform. Back in the Remco AWA days, my championship consistently got put on Bockwinkle, Flair, and Hennig. Ive been clamoring for someone to make a modern figure for Nick since the CS days. Easily in my top favorite wrestlers of all time list. He personified class, technical prowess, and charisma. I always loved his stuff with Lawler too. A sad day for wrestling, as its lost one of its truly great world champions of all time. I am thankful hes is already in the HoF. I am also thankful we got a little bit of insight as to how a modern Bockwinkle would have played out in WWE, thanks to Chris Jericho channeling his inner Nick from 08-2010. The humanoids will miss you Mr Bockwinkle. Thank you for the great memories! R.I.P.

I didn't get to watch much of the AWA growing up, but even I knew Nick Bockwinkle was one of the greatest of all time. And what I have seen I can understand why. I've always enjoyed listening to him talk and all of his insight when he would be involved in WWE shows like the Legends of Wrestling. Truly a class act.
