I haven't been watching WWE for the past few weeks, but I've been reading results online. I just want to say I'm sick and tired of ECW such as Tommy Dreamer, Rhyno, Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von. I get that they are having a feud with the Wyatts, but it's really unnecessary. Just like the Brothers of Destruction vs. The Wyatts it really didn't benefit anybody especially not The Wyatts. ECW didn't improve ratings to TNA so why would it improve ratings to WWE? Why can't these guys ever just let it go? Btw I also cannot stand Tommy Dreamer the guy just sucks at wrestling and I hated his run in TNA, dude had no business being there.

I've been saying this for a few days now. I feel like the company never died sometimes.

It is kind of sad that the WWE still has to resort to ECW relics in the year 2015.
Why build new stars when you can rely on the old ones, right??

In 2005 it was great. It felt like it got the ending it needed. Now I feel like we're watching WWE just Kate Vick it.
I want the Wyatt's to win, quickly. I want WWE to symbolically be like "See this can die!".

No.
As long as any ECW original can still go ECW won't die even after that it still will be around

I'm in the minority, but I like the angle so far... I agree that ECW may never die as long as its stars are in WWE but I'm a fan of generations clashing. It's interesting to see the "old school hardcore guys" face off against WWE's current anti-establishment brawlers. Also the guys they have repping ECW are good choices, since they still currently work a lot. I might have a different tone if it was Sabu or Sandman with the Dudley Boyz.

I think ECW was such an important part to the history of professional wrestling that it will never seep out of wrestling fans' minds... as long as wrestling fans continue to pass on the importance of ECW in shaping the industry then no it will never officially die spiritually.

ECW will live forever.
Not in the way it should've, but still...through chants, 'originals' and anything remotely hardcore...like the Screwjob, it is indelible to the utmost...

I have paid no attention to this but it should be RVD in Dreamer's place.

Man. Age is really showing around here.
I was upset growing up watching Sgt. Slaughter and Jim Hacksaw lace up their boots for an episode of Raw. I guess people like Tommy Dreamer and Rhyno are eliciting that response now from my generation..
Regardless, I look at it differently. Its a nostalgia run. ECW was a pioneer of modern wrestling. They brought in entertainment the likes never before seen. There wouldnt be a TLC PPV Sunday if it wasnt for ECW. To suggest they just "let it go" is ignorant.
Wanna know what I thought tonight? That they tried making a "moment" when all those teams walked out. And you know what? It was sad. League of Nations? Bunch of losers. Bray Wyatt? Good. Wyatt Family? Proven worthless without Bray. Roman is the sh*ts, Ambrose is good but cant find room to grow. and the Usos simply exist.
Say what you will but if you're trying to gain viewers, I personally know more people who will turn the TV on by simply saying "Hey theres an ECW reunion on WWE right now" than anyone of these new guys who are failing to put the spotlight on themselves. But it wasnt a ratings move. It was simply a Nostalgia move. Because theres nothing entertaining about the rest of those guys right now.

I just get a kick out of the statement "I don't watch, but I'm sick of these guys"..... If you don't watch, what are you so upset about? LOL, not trying to start trouble.... I just find it amusing.

I'm enjoying it. And nah it wont die, theres too many people alive from the original ECW to keep the stories going, posting via social media about anniversarys of ECW moment etc, as they pass on the stories will become less and less, and ECW will fade from memory.

I like it. ECW was probably the biggest thing to happen to wrestling in recent years, and by that I mean the Attitude Era.
