I haven't been watching WWE for the past few weeks, but I've been reading results online. I just want to say I'm sick and tired of ECW such as Tommy Dreamer, Rhyno, Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von. I just get a kick out of the statement "I don't watch, but I'm sick of these guys"..... If you don't watch, what are you so upset about? LOL, not trying to start trouble.... I just find it amusing. considering the 15 million ECW reunions there have been, I read it as more a general "I'm sick of hearing these guys still popping up on TV" which is a valid stance to have even if you haven't watched the last few episodes. Just my take on it.

ECW should be left in the past. The passion, the energy, the love for it can stay, but as a promotion, a gimmick it should go.

WWE praises ECW, but craps on WCW because ECW was never a viable threat in any way. WCW was putting them out of business at one point.

I don't need ECW back but those 4 guys still have a lot to offer. Granted they shouldn't each be working 2 matches on RAW in 2015 but star power is thin these days.

the fact they have to use these guys is more horrendous. but thats what happens when your mid card is floundering. and the Main event matches are moving to mid card. Without Brock, Cena, Orton, or even Seth at this point, the company is hurting to fill the void.

In 2005 it was great. It felt like it got the ending it needed. Now I feel like we're watching WWE just Kate Vick it. You want HHH to it's dead body? Vince already did that. And Dixie got the leftovers. I love when jokes go RIGHT past people's heads. Wow.

I don't think the memory of ECW will ever "die".....eventually all of the ECW alumni will get to an age where they can no longer perform, and that will end these little ECW Invasions.....but it's fun for people like me who grew up at that time. I grew up watching Dreamer and the Dudley Boyz and Rhino in ECW, and it's crazy that in 2015 that they are still wrestling and that even 14 years after ECW went out of business that ECW is still as popular and in demand as ever.
I'm sure that people who are younger or never watched the Original ECW, or maybe all they saw was WWE's version of ECW, this probably isn't as fun for them because it doesn't bring them back to their childhood like it does for people like me.
Just like when Sting came to WWE.....this was a big deal for older fans like me. Younger people and people who never saw WCW were probably like "who is this old man in Mime makeup?" lol
And seeing ECW on WWE Network is different than actually living through it as it happened. You just can't get the true feel of it unless you lived through it, because it was a part of 90's pop culture and it fed off of what the world was like at the time.

Not as long as WWE needs guys to come belittle their current roster.

They're around strictly as veterans to put over younger guys. Having Dreamer, Rhyno and the Dudley Boyz around is a hell of a lot better than Mark Henry, Big Show, etc.

Gotta love wfigs "Omg dudleyz are back !!!1111!1!1!!" A month later "I'm so sick of the Dudleyz and ecw" Dudleyz are cool and still are. Bubba proved he could still go in TNA. I do miss Calfzilla though. ECW as a whole, I am beyond sick of. It is a very valid point that the company seemingly never died.

I don't see the problem with The Dudley's, Dreamer, and Rhyno against the Wyatt's. That's probably the only thing to get excited about for TLC IMO. It should have some cool spots and then Dreamer and Rhyno will probably disappear anyway.

Gotta love wfigs "Omg dudleyz are back !!!1111!1!1!!" A month later "I'm so sick of the Dudleyz and ecw" The problem is there is always somebody out there wanting to crap on something. It's so easy to do online. The negative to positive ratio is like 10 to 1. And if you don't like this segment, there's plenty of other parts to watch, especially on a never ending three hour show. But for the OP, a guy who is not even watching the show, to complain about it is pathetic.

It's a bunch of 40+ year olds who can't let go. I don't see Booker T coming out and saying "This is time for the big boys to play!".

ECW will die in the the 2060's when all of the fans of that era start to pass. Hell, I'm sure wrestling will be dead before then. Its only a matter of time when it becomes offensive and ridiculed.
ECW was great. At 27, I can say my best memories came from ECW. The Invasion angle was fun for me, then when MLW started I got that same ECW vibe, then the ONS shows, and Hardcore Homecoming. When WWE tried to rebrand it, it died to me, but Dreamer has done a hell of a job with House of Hardcore and he keeps that flame lit. Don't worry kido's, it's only a decade away when the new generation will wish for the RKO chants to die, and the Cena refferences to die... Or the Wyatts... Or Punk....

It's all good man and it's cuz Bubba Ray tries to make it such a huge surprise on the 4th man on Twitter and we all knew it was going to be Rhyno. I'm not watching Raw cuz I find most of the stuff stupid right now, but when I read they're doing another ECW stable for the 50th time now I just had to express my opinion on it. How many farewells and reunions do these guys need man? They've had like 3 farewells already.
