This is a series I've been working on this year where I got me a Christmas elf that's being used as a dummy for many different finishing moves. It's more of a posing exercise, since I've never done much move posing before, so if they don't look 100% right, I apologize. Anyway, to kick things off we have a Doomsday Device in progress for out Yuletide spy. There will be more to come. Think of it as a 12 Days of Christmas thing.

Try using string to hold one or more of the figures in the air.

Try using string to hold one or more of the figures in the air. That's a good idea. In this shot I was letting the LOD set up the move, but if I do a followup, I'll get the moment of impact down. The main problem I had making these was how loose the ropes were, where top rope maneuvers were impossible. I might have to order ropes from Ringside since I hear they're better than what came with the classic/modern cages. Otherwise I'd do something like Macho Man's elbow drop or Eddie's frog splash.

That's why I stuck mainly with submissions and other simple finishers or setting up poses like this. One I have coming up is Vader setting up the Vader Bomb.

You can try making a sequence out of one idea, like having a set-up shot, the move, and the reaction.

Yeah, looking at the other threads here, that sounds like a good idea. Thing is the elf can be a pain to work with, hence why I did one shot vignettes since the bugger kept falling over.
