I've heard that the ropes that come with the Authentic Scale Ring are loose, but mine are so loose that the bottom one is laying on the mat on one side. And my top one is almost touching the middle one on one side. My middle rope is the only one that looks close to normal.
Anyone else have this issue?

That sounds a way to loose so yea I'd either cut and tie them to tighten them up or buy some ropes of RSC. Wonder why they make them so loose to begin with?

Mine were pretty loose but not that loose. I highly recommend the ropes from RSC.

Damn dude that sucks! I have two sets from WCT and they blow. RSC's are great but a tad too tight as they pull the ring posts in.
IMO the best(and cheapest) route is cutting the ones you have and tying them back together keeping the knots under the turnbuckle covers. This way you use what you have, don't have to spend extra money, and you don't have to wait for something else to arrive

To those that use the Ringside ropes, how bad do they pull the corner posts?

To those that use the Ringside ropes, how bad do they pull the corner posts? They don't at all on my ASR On my ESR they did pull the posts a little bit, so I stretched the ropes for a few minutes and now it's perfect

My ropes were really really bad, it made it unplayable but email WCT help they send me some and I live in UK so they are quite reliable

My RSC ropes are good ropes but they're too tight on my ASR even with stretching them. Stuff will obviously vary especially with fabric materials with any type of tension as WCT's ropes vary as well as RSC's.
