For Christmas, my future in laws scored us tickets to the WWE Raw episode following the Royal Rumble.
I just wanted to ask, since the Survior Series security threat, do WWE want people arriving early for security purposes? I know the restrictions of what we can and can't bring, but I could have sworn they reccommended getting to arenas as early as 2:30? We have a 2 and a half hour drive to Miami, so I want to make sure we arrive in plenty of time.
Did they drop that? If not, how early do they want us all there? Thanks in advance!

I've been to several shows and I typically get there in no big rush and can be in my seat by the time it is live. You can never hurt to be early tho

From what I understand every sporting event, be it WWE, NFL, NBA, etc... is beefing up security. Get there early.

I'd probably just show up about an hour into the show. You'll avoid the lines and if anything important happened, they'll replay it on the screen for ya five times in lieu of giving you more matches!

I think they said they want everybody to go an hour early to their shows so they can get through everybody.

I went to a couple of the NXT shows on the UK tour a couple of weeks ago. Security was bumped up from any other wrestling show I've been to, but you'd only need to arrive an hour or so before show time. And don't take any bags with you, as you may have to hand them over for storage and line up to collect them after the show.

No way would you want to get there at 2:30. They tell you to arrive early so you can get through the door and get seated but the doors wont open until something like 6pm. They wont open the doors and let you sit there for 4hrs in the arena while nothing is going on. My suggestion is find out what time doors open and what time bell rings and make a judgement call. If bell time is 7:00 and doors open at 6:00 you can get there at 5-5:30 and not miss a thing.

I don't know where I heard 2:30 from. That's what was throwing me off. We're going to make sure we're outside the building at 5 pm. Thanks again to everyone. This can be locked.
