My Kmart is a dump. I go in once a year and usually leave with the bird flu and a dire need of a tetanus shot. LOL I wish I could find the post from a long time ago where you listed things you see in Kmarts. LOL it was GOLD. Hilarious stuff. I found it on Google!! You'll see... Shelves that are a mess. An overweight woman with no bra on. Used band aids laying around. Punk vs Undertaker Battle packs. Disney lawn statues. Empty slushy cup laying on a shelf. Austin, Brock, & Axel three packs. 7 dollar Air Max sneakers. A worker with a mullet fro. An apparently moving cloud of b.o. Rock & Daniel Brian championship figures. Rat poison & Ritz crackers in the same isle.

Occasionally I can find some good unexpected discoveries at K-Mart. Really terrible to hear about folks losing their jobs.

Kmart is the poor people's target and the better 5 finger discount products than the local Walmart. The high volume traffic from the local predators will keep the one in my area afloat. That or the constantly flooded bathroom toilets. I thought that was Walmart? Kmart is kinda like a higher priced big lots lol

Kmart might be the worst mass market retailer in history. They are dumps, and most of the people working in them are dumps. I've never gone into a Kmart and not waited a ridiculous time to check out, their prices are higher than Target/Walmart for no reason. Their stores are laid out like it's 1985. It sucks that people are losing jobs, but Kmart should be one of those "Things of the Past"

Sad for the people losing their jobs. This. Kmart stores in general need a redesign if they want to attract new or even existing customers.

One thing I like abt Kmart is its sometimes a treasure trove of unsold things. Sometimes I can find figures that were released a few years ago still chillin on the shelf. Back in 2008 I found some Dragon Ball Z figures from the late 90's still chillin' on the shelf.

I need to add: * Always smells like fertilizer..... * Really slow cash register system.... register appears to be held together with duct tape. * Need to swipe my credit card 4-5 times before it reads..... * One cash register open during peak times? * 14 pages of receipts when I buy one item.... * No, I would not like to donate money to St. Jude's today.....

Goddamn, those receipts though. They have the ability to elect E-Reciepts, which I always do, and yet every time the printer spits out eighty pages of crap. I am never going to be able to spend $100 on shoes at a Kmart so that I can redeem this 10% off coupon.

I am never going to be able to spend $100 on shoes at a Kmart so that I can redeem this 10% off coupon. One time, I was went to pay for my items - and they had zero registers open. None of them had any lights on, or were manned. Several of us were standing there, looking around, confused, not sure what to do..... a few people put there things down & left. People didn't know which line to get in! I think someone finally came out & apologized.... For the most part, I enjoy shopping at K Mart, in spite of my minor gripes.... they don't generally have a great selection... and I've noticed their prices have gone up in the last several months. But sometimes, when I don't want to deal with the Walmart crowd.... K Mart is a nice alternative.
