This is what one of their online representatives told me on Wednesday: "It seems that currently the amount of backordered items is more than the actual amount we have at hand and this delay is being experienced since we are working on the item availability to make sure that we can fulfill all the order.
"In short it is currently out of stock, but we are working on it."
"We will do our best to fulfill the orders to make sure that you'll receive it." I have no doubts that Hunter Hearst Helmsley will ship in three weeks, and eventually I think Big Boss Man and Shawn Michaels will be available online for a limited time, but I won't hesitate to buy all three if I find them in stores first.

I think this happened to may people for the Marvel Legends X-Men wave. Many are without certain characters and scalpers jacked the entire wave. So Storm now goes for about $100 on ebay. I am always afraid of TRU cancelling my stuff. I got lucky w/ those X-Men & got lucky w/ the Bossman again!

Just got my order confirmation! So looks like I'll finally get my Big Bossman after all these years....
Can't wait to see it! After getting the dreaded "we may have to cancel your order" e-mail several weeks ago, I thought there was no way I was getting this...
And thus ends my trips to Toys R Us.... once I find my Target exclusives, I'll officially be "caught-up" for a while, and can go back into hiding....

I know the feeling... on all accounts. As much as it pains me to say it, I hope that Toysrus.com stocks this figure soon so I can place a regular order for one. I was told definitively by one of their Live Chat representatives just now that my pre-order for Big Boss Man was cancelled and it will not be fulfilled. They said they are working to have the item back in stock, but for now we have to rely on their e-mail notification system for any updates. I shared with them Greensborohill 's shipping confirmation and was told that " it is possible" I could have received my pre-order had I waited until a later date to place it. For the record, I pre-ordered both Big Boss Man and Hunter Hearst Helmsley on December 21st. I said "I understand that my order was scheduled to be cancelled on February 19th, but what good is a pre-order if it's not meant to be fulfilled?"Their response was "I can tell you that we always try to do our best and fulfil every single order, we understand how important is this for our customers. I am a customer as well."According to the representative, Hunter Hearst Helmsley " is in backorder status." They have yet to alter the description of the item on their website - it is still estimated to ship on March 9th. These store exclusives are becoming a pain. I understand why they do it but if you cant get product especially if you pre order it thats ridiculous. Also, why put pegs up for weeks with nothing on them and only ship them to a quarter of the states? Really crappy TRU!!

I got an e-mail that mine is processing.
Unfortunately, last Friday someone in Florida got my credit card number and tried to make a charge to a travel agency. The bank caught it, suspended my account and on Monday issued me a new card. But that new card won't be delivered until sometime next week and my order will be cancelled by then due to payment being from the old card. I don't see any options on TRU.com where I could change card info anyway. Sometimes collecting isn't worth the hassles.
