Plain and simple Triple H has the title as a way to try to get Roman Reigns over once and for all, if it still fails then maybe, just maybe WWE will cave in an realize that Giving Reigns a super push isn't the way to get him over.

Oh look a generic lets bitch at HHH thread. He won so he can put over Reigns at WM but let's ignore that part

I'm not getting all the HHH hate for his win last night. Storyline wise, it makes perfect sense. The Authority tried to hold the title with Rollins but he got injured. Then they tried it with Sheamus but he couldn't beat Roman. HHH was the last bullet in the Authority's gun for getting the title off Roman. And it's not like he can't still do his thing in the ring; his style is one that even a mid-40ish wrestler can do convincingly. He's not even that much of a part-timer like Rock or Brock as we have seen him in his non-wrestler role on an almost weekly basis. He never officially retired from in-ring work, he just didn't have a good enough reason to put himself through it on a weekly basis.
I'm not thrilled at him being champion over someone newer/fresher like Ambrose or Wyatt but I'm not going to complain about it either. They're actually telling a decent story.

Glad HHH is champ....only thing that sucks about it is Reigns is gonna main event mania again and win the title this time. The way Roman was booked made no sense, in fact imo it made Romans haters hate him even more.

"Let me beat you, then you beat me later" is not putting someone over. Not like he pinned Reings is it? No he just beat the whole roster in a match that could have changed the course of the WWE had they had the balls to do something different. What's best case scenario for Mania? Reigns wins? That's super obvious. When it is that obvious, he's not really getting a rub. How does he get a rub in a match that everyone knows he's winning going into it. And if somehow he loses and HHH leaves as champion, then my point is proven even more. He put Reigns over at TLC when Reigns beat the hell put of him. That shoulda been it. HHH shoulda positioned another guy to take out reigns. But no he's like "I can handle it myself" which is inconsistent with him getting completely destroyed at TLC. It's bad booking and doesn't make sense

He's a transitional champion. It's not hard to understand.

I don't mind Trips being Champ at all really.
I don't care for him dropping the title to Roman at Mania though.

I was indifferent towards the outcome. Preferred it to Reigns but knew he's only going to be used to put Reigns over.
I must admit, though, I had a laugh with my friend at the idea of him selling all these NXT guys stories of reaching the promised land whilst his main roster guys work 300 nights a year only for their boss to saunter in for his first match in 9 months and win the title they're all dreaming of. It's a bit of a crapty situation for the guys.

This had me spitting my milk out during the match. It's interesting to have HHH as champ, let's see how it plays out.

None of this has anything to do with HHH. This is all Roman Reigns' fault with his inability to get over as the top babyface in the company. I guess he half shares the blame with Vince too for believing Reigns is the guy and sticking with it come hell or high water. Either way, HHH is being a good little soldier to help get Reigns over.
If Roman Reigns wasn't Lex Luger, none of this would be happening.

Last year's Wrestlemania was great and the WWE v WCW match was fun and silly. Even Reigns looked great in his match with Lesnar and Seth winning was a great swerve.
I like Triple H and am very happy to have him as champ. I hate how the WWE keeps saying that Cesaro doesn't have "it" because he's not great on the mic, but they keep pushing Reigns who can't talk or wrestle.

I know I'm biased. But the truth is, had it not been for the mass amounts of injuries, Triple H would not be champion. It would most likely have been John Cena or Randy Orton. Do you think people would have been happier with another John Cena title run? Tying Ric Flair's record?
Also if you watch that Silicon Valley special that aired last night, and you still think Sting was a miserable old man forced into jobbing out, then there is nothing I could say to help you. In the backstage clips Sting looked to be as happy as I've seen him in years. Sting also says on his DVD that he was coming in to (paraphrasing) "go out on his back. Because that is what you are supposed to do when you retire". So while it's okay to be disappointed he lost, it's time to move on passed the "Evil Triple H made him lose theory".

Idc what anybody says I loved it and I marked when he won
Triple h certainly wouldnt have been my first pick but I'm fine with it
Sure I would have liked ambrose, wyatt, styles, bryan, lesnar to win but the roster is thin and right now the wwe title/wrestlemania need the type of star power triple h can provide plus it makes sense story wise and he is gonna put over roman huge at mania
