I look at WWE Jakks figures compared to Mattel's figures. I love my Elite Mattel figures and still want them to continue with their great figures. I mean We all know the figures from Mattel are top notch compared to Jakks (I'll give it to Jakks for the Awesome accessories they gave their figures).
So here the question for you-
What would the next generation of WWE figure need in order for the current Mattel figures to look out dated?
Ill leave it open to you as to what the next "level" for a wrestling figure would need to be. You can be as open (be a creative as you want) with your ideas.

More details such as molded wrist tape instead of just painting it on their bare arms.

More realistic shading, correct colours (hair), finer sculpting detail and more detailed paint apps I guess? More materials for clothing/attires? Stuff like on the latest ambrose head, sculpt the light beard and give it a lighter colour instead of going he has a beard, we will give him a generic beard.
Proportion wise and in terms of looking like an actual human instead of the jakks troglodyte gorrilla body types id say mattel have it perfected.
I think Mattel are nailing it though for the price range and could carry on as they are for years to come.

I just want great facial resemblance and overall scale. Also I want cloth entrance gear,...such as macho man robes.

Bend-ems with an unnervingly realistic flesh texture, ratcheting inner skeleton(including fingers, jaw, and facial muscles), and articulated eyeballs like certain Japanese figures, also divas with realistically styled doll hair.

I think the next step is going like the Marvel Legends line. A 4" line with everybody represented with 10-12 waves per year, and a 6" super detailed line with unique molds, etc that costs $25 and gets about 4-5 waves per year.

Bigger arms for Bray Wyatt and a few new torso molds for the tall guys and increase new scans and that's next level for me

Ok, I'm gonna enjoy it as much as possible Well , actually I find WWe Elite the most powerful and beautiful line people can buy at retail and that can sitisfy both children and adult collectors. If i coul change anything about what mattel is givin us i think I'll improve joints: Divas above all , changing their POA scheme; then I'd stop using the same torso for every figure (that "bikini-line" covered with paint is awful). About the male body..not much but I'd like 2-joints elbows and ball-jointed middle-torso to let them swing side-to-side and a more accurate and realistic rotation. Interchangeble hands would be tottaly great: no more dilemmas about closed fists, open hands, useful/unuseful grabbing-hands... Optional parts: not so much for me..I'd really like to have a dynamic stand to pose my figures whatever I want; something similar to this:

Rubber skin, like Hot Toys and some other companies do. An articulated "skeleton" as it were underneath, with a flexible, seamless rubber skin over it.

Honestly, everyone above basically hit the nail on the head for me. I'd like to see all around better quality and detailed figures, unique molds, and completely redesigned articulation. I look at other figures like Marvel/DC and can't help but wish WWE figures were identical to them.
I hope we all understand that unless WWE hands over their product license to another company that none of this will happen. Mattel's budget keeps diminishing by the year and it will only get worse as time goes on. They have some really great figures but naturally things could be a lot better.

Figma style articulation Imagine if MDT were able to replicate the SH Figuarts formula but at a more reasonable price for consumers...that kind of articulation and detail would definitely outshine any previous wrestling figures.

Anatomically correct with removable ring attire.

Too much articulation makes the figures look like sh*t so hopefully they don't change that much

-Molded wrist tape -Unique molds for each wrestler (no reuse of parts on any figure) -Butterfly shoulder joints -Double-jointed elbows -Marvel Legends style ankle rocker -Shading -Alternate Heads -Alternate Hands -Cloth Shirts/accessories (No rubber shirts) -Molded on Shirts for those who wear shirts all of the time (Eg. Road Dogg)

no more reusing parts.
every figure w/ unique body molds like the later TNA marvel toys figs and like NECA would do.
molded wristbands. molded knee/elbow pads. Unique skintones and dry brushing/blending instead of just a flat skintone color.
alternate heads and hands. U get a John Cena figure and u get the stupid smiley scan. But it would also come w/ an angry Cena scan head. And extra hands...like a five knuckle shuffle hand or salute hand

Rubber skin, like Hot Toys and some other companies do. An articulated "skeleton" as it were underneath, with a flexible, seamless rubber skin over it. This...for the 6 inch lines. I also think it is only a matter of time before we see an ultra high end 1/6th (12 inch) line. Storm collectables has Hogan coming soon. If that does well, I hope more are on the way. I'm okay paying $200-$250 for a figure if the product is of hot toys standard etc.

Probably as others said, more cloth. Swappable head and hands. Eventually a skin layer over the joints.

I like Figmas/Figuarts, but elite articulation is fine.
Softer kneepads/elbowpads, consistently more cloth, and quit using them same mold for Divas. They used to be unique figures, and now its only the elites
