The custom 1980's belt looks amazing. Backlund looks really simple.. cant wait to see what it would look like with the modded hair. Kane looks good but i think if you used the snarling scan it would look alot better. Great work! Rated R NinJa

They both look really cool. I was wondering if you could put the hair and mask on Kane, or are they just accessories?

They both look really cool. I was wondering if you could put the hair and mask on Kane, or are they just accessories? just accessories, kanes "wig is the hair off of an old TTL and the mask is shaved of a TTL real scan Kane head with the mouth cut out. The hair I heated and flattened so he could hold it as if he just took off the wig and mask.

I've thought about using my LJN belt to make a mold of the plates and making a few of these belts myself in hard plastic. Looks really good. Glad you found a good reference picture of the belt.

Neither are spectacular but both are nicely done and creative. The belt turned out really nice. Backlund looks simple and clean, job well done. The Kane is a great concept and the snarling head would have definitely worked a lot better. Great job on both of these.

Using the ljn belt to make molds is a really great idea, seeing as how hard those are to come by. I'm sure you could make some nice dough making molds, if you're into that. Mofo, that simple yet effective Backlund looks great. I reciently won an old ljn title off ebay with hopes of doing the same thing you've done here. Painting in the stones on the belt really makes the custom pop! Nice touch!

That belt looks superb, I've been wanting Jakks to make that belt more than I want any particular figure that hasn't been made yet. Did you cut up an LJN belt or just paint it? I've never actually seen an LJN belt in real life but I always wanted to know if they're worth getting for CS figures. I could never find a good reference pic of the belt either so big thanks for that too Backlund and Kane look great btw.

The version I did is accurate. There was a heavyweight belt that had a black strap and gold and silver plates that was unaccurate as well, it came with Hogan. Heres the actual belt, I bought it from ebay so here the pic of my belt before I modded it.

Thanks for the info, I've always wanted to know how those belts looked on CS figures but I never could get a straight answer out of anyone so I wasn't sure how big they were. Now I know I'll get one off ebay. Even though it's not perfectly accurate it looks really good and may ba as close as we ever get.

I paid like $15 for the long tag belt, it seems to be the cheapest.

I love the Kane. My only suggestion is that maybe you shouldn't of put so much "dirt" on his face... or was that how it was when he took the mask off? I can't really remember... Also, I love how you shaved the mask from a TTL fig. Really neat idea. 8/10 on the Kane : )
