Me personally what makes the 90s(And some of the early 2000s) so special for me not only just because of the movies,Music and tv shows but from a personal reason half my family members were still alive.Back then my family always did something every weekend at my grandpas house.I remember every friday night we would all just get together and just have fun.We Dont do stuff like that anymore because most of them passed away or moved to a different state but the memories will last forever.

I didn't get to experience the 90's so much but I didn't mind having my childhood in the 2000's, I had my PS2, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance and I loved to play outside so I had a great childhood. Nowadays I literally see kids aged 9/10 standing around shops on iPhones.. I had a childhood before technology destroyed the idea of playing outside, not to say all kids are like this now but mine certainly won't be like this.

Same here, I was born in August of '98 and as much as I'd have loved to have grown up in the 90's, having a childhood in the 2000's was pretty great too.

Music, film, video games and television peaked in the 90s. Wrestling peaked in the 90s. 80s also had a lot of cool stuff though.

I was born in 72. I love my time. We had Megos, we lived at a time when there was no Star Wars...I could go on and on.
We lived before internet. It is awesome kids, to play outside! We used pinecone handgrenades! We wandered the streams etc. We actually read books. Comic books were GREAT back then.
We lived through Hulk Hogan in the WWF. The greatest time to be a wrestling fan.
Getting old DOES suck though. My knee hurts, I am bald...But I wouldn´t trade my memories with anyone.

the 90s gen just isn't the youngest people any more so they can start the whole "back in my day" schtick. a lot of it is true - the world before google was a different place and some things were different and better. but a lot of things were worse too. technology has allowed for pretty rapid progression in a lot of areas. We had "Ask Jeeves" which was a crap site. I was born in 88. But, I got to see the emergence of nWo, DX, Hogan going back to Red/Yellow, Goldberg, Kane, ECW, Stone Cold, The Rock, Razor Ramon, Diesel... I am very happy with my wrestling memories. OJ'd chase on TV, Columbine, Oklahoma Bombing, and Madis Klifton (sp?) are all negatives I remember from the 90's. Also, the infamous White House scandel of Clinton's under the table swashbuckling. The 90's were great. Other than Star Wars Special Editions and Episode 1.

As a 90s kid, PlayStation's the bomb.

"A 90's kid? Don't you mean a sad adult?"

I'd say there's no better time then now to be alive because you have all the great things you enjoy now and can revisit the old pretty easily. If you were alive in the 90's you could only watch 90's movies and back. Now you have two more decades of film to pick from on top of what was available in the 90's. And it's easier to find now too. Same holds true for music and television too.
