I know the show starts tonight, but I am starting to think I am the only one who thinks this show looks completely terrible and not funny in the slightest.
I've always been a fan of Edge and Christian, and they are funny guys. But this show reeks of "try-hardness."
The jokes and skits seem overly forced and unnatural and come across as corny rather than funny or interesting.
Maybe I will end up being wrong, but surely someone else feels this way?

I think it looks pretty good. I think they are intentionally trying to be corny but in a funny way.

I love Edge, he's my favorite of all time, so I'm looking forward to this show... BUT I do think it looks a bit over the top and cheesy.

I thought it started after Fastlane
Either way, the trailer was one of the weirdest things ever seen, i'll give it one ep, but its not something ill go out of my way to watch every week

I'd probably like it if I was 12 Yeah it reminds me of a Nick sketch show. Like it's fine if you are 12, and if that is their audience then maybe it is working? |

I'm going to check it out. Because it's E&C it gets the benefit of the doubt. Kind of just shows how badly I want to see both of those guys on TV at this point. I think WWE has done a good job with these shows. Stuff that makes me roll my eyes and looks terrible, usually turns out to be pretty good after I watch it. I actually thought this looked pretty funny when the trailer first aired. They played it a hundred times since then though and that will hurt anything.

All of the penis/scrotum references makes me think it's targeting all age groups. I agree with you about it coming across as forced and not funny at all. I cringed so hard when Mick Foley started singing about his scrotum burning or something incredibly stupid. I was honestly a little shocked seeing a lot of members on here say they thought it looked funny because I was expecting some very harsh reactions given how critical the majority of members tend to be. |
