I have recently come very close to completing my TNA Toybiz collection. Now, I am not a completionist in the fullest sense of the word, but for me that means acquiring on of each character made (so, if they made 5 different AJ Styles, I'm cool with only having one). As I have gotten closer and closer to completing the collection, I have been more and more impressed with how great these figures were at the time they were made. Truly, they are the closest thing we had to the current Mattel offerings (which, in my opinion is the best wrestling figure line made to date), and were pretty revolutionary and evolutionary in lots of ways as it relates to wresting figures in general. Sure, there were some really strange looking ones (the bodies on Angle and Joe are pretty scary) but some of them can slide right into the newest Mattel's company and fit right in. I recently found a few pics of some of the figures that were on the way before the line was shut down. Damn...did we miss out on some beauties. Here are a few that looked amazing... I'm personally not into collecting diva figures, but that is a pretty great looking first crack at producing a female figure in the TNA line. Much better than most of Jakks attempts. I have Homicide...and I will forever wish that I could have completed LAX with this sweet looking Hernandez. It has been fun working to complete this often overlooked and forgotten line. I really wish we had gotten a few more waves....oh what could have been.

I agree. Totally. The Mattel figures feel like they're heading the ToyBiz way with all the points of Articulation. I love the prototype Bubba, he looked amazing.

Wow, never have gotten into anything bigger than Stackdown figures but those look on par with a ton of the great figures that exist today.

I thought Toybiz WCW was better. I hate finger articulation.

Correct me if I'm wrong as it's been almost a decade, but wasn't Traci Brooks going to be a Build a Figure?

The Sting looks odd, but good at the same time. Hernandez looks amazing though.

Sad we never got Traci. They had an X-Pac and a Kid Kash that looked great, too. I remember being so pumped when I got the first 4 figures of this line delivered!
Makes me sad we aren't getting any TNA figs these days (I liked the Jakks figures a lot, too.)

Aside from scaling and ridiculous action features it was one of my favourite lines

Good times...I enjoyed the figures quite a bit, and still have several of them.

I've always wanted that Angle. I don't think Mattel could do a better job with it.

Looks like Kurts been leg-daying it like a maniac. That rubber singlet piece is a neat idea though...looks cool.

I remember finding Series 1 Jeff Jarrett in Wal Mart and nearly crying I was so happy.
I love that they gave us the NWA Title, and I wish the line lasted longer.
