LOL have you seen my sig? That original actor was amazing! Everything about him. He looked like such a badass. Everything he said sounded cool. He just had this confidence about him. He literally became my favorite character after one episode. I'll stop the gushing here because I've ranted about this a few times already in this very thread. the new guy. That's my only issue with Game of Thrones. The extensive recasting. The Mountain (recasted twice). Daario (the badass we speak of). Leaf (recasted this season). The Raven (recasted this season). The Night King (recasted this season as you told me) I'm sure there are others I can't remember at the moment. I'm use to the new Dario now....but your totally right about the original 100%! Ever try Starz Spartacus? Amazing show IMO, after season 1 the lead actor was diagnosed with cancer, & end up dying (RIP Andy) but with his blessing they recast him with another actor & he was nowhere near as good, thankfully the story & other stars of the story made up for it That's the only situation I can accept it. However, they tend to recast an actor/actress who is NOTHING like the original. Dumbledore in Harry Potter is a great example. The original actor was very confident and mysterious. The new guy always seemed panicked and had less mystique. My thing is, if you're going to recast, play the character as loyally to the original as possible. This isn't covering a a song where your trying to add your own flavor to it (although most dramatically different cover versions of songs suck).

I'm thinking tonight should be a big episode. These last four episodes are going to be insane.

Pretty enjoyable episode. Not as big an episode as we thought, but enjoyable nonetheless. I'm looking forward to next week's ass kicking. Feels good having The Hound back.

very good episode this week. the slow build continues...but the return of the hound! and some serious story development for him in a singular episode.
i'm going to be very, very sad if and when they kill off the giant. i'm a big fan of his/hodor's/the mountain's.

Ian McShane didn't last long, though his character was important in the rebirth of The Hound.

Another solid episode. Here are my thoughts: 1) The Hound!!!!! Great to have him back. Ian McShane was nothing short of fantastic as expected. 2) I'm not gonna lie, I LOLed when the little girl was like "62". Oh ho ho ho watch out we got a badass over here hehe. She was entertaining though. And I liked Tormund's speech and how the Wildlings pledged their allegiance to Jon. Heartwarming moment to see them shake hands. 3) I'm glad to see the Freys back in the mix these last couple episodes. They kind of fell out of the plot after The Red Wedding. Also, I'm becoming more and more convinced that a certain character from the books that I thought would never be in the show, will be coming after all. I never actually read the books, but I do know and read about said character. Should be interesting. I have strong reservations though. 4) Arya! Nooooooo!!!!! I hope she kills that stupid waif and reconnects with The Hound. 5) Speaking of the Hound, and the inevitable Clegane matchup, I kinda like the mute, super-zombie Mountain. He's pretty freaky and can **** up (even moreso than originally). I have a love/hate relationship with the Lannisters. But I definitely want them to get revenge on the sparrow and his stupid followers. 6) Speaking of the sparrow, that was a pretty odd, misogynistic speech about how Margaery should be letting that little boy king smash her against her desire. Anyways, I love how she is conspiring against the faith militant. I don't know what her end game is, but it should be good. 7) I feel bad for Theon. Yara was kinda sensitive about his situation, but not really. Have to say I find Yara pretty sexy. "I'm going to go the tits off that one" LOL 8) I'm guessing Sansa is going to appeal to the Vale. Ugh, I have a bad feeling about it. 9) No Bran this week, which makes me sad. His storyline has been surprisingly one of my favorites. I really want to see the conclusion of the Tower of Joy. And also, possibly confirmation on the Mad King theory, even though it's very farfetched. 10) Also need more background on the forest kids and the white walkers. They've done a rather piss poor job of explaining that thus far. Surely more info has to be coming. Can't wait for next Sunday!

Love me some GOT and TWD, they're my two favorite ongoing series. Both are phenomenal in their own way but damn Game of Thrones is getting intense right now. Really hate that the season will be ending so soon, feels like it just started. Hopefully Snow becomes a little more assertive and less of a **** but then again who knows, maybe dying opens your eyes to some things.

Another great episode. Season six has been on fire. -THE HOUND! After two long, agonizing years, we finally know what happened to the most lovable cold-hearted killer out there. I thought his scenes were great and I look forward to where this story with the Brotherhood Without Banners goes. Speaking of them, it's great to finally see them pop back up in the show, but it appears they have changed quite drastically since the last time we saw them. I am becoming more and more convinced we will see a certain book character this season... -The Riverlands stuff was great. Jaime's conversation with the Blackfish was pretty much straight out of the books, so glad they're finally doing this stuff in the show. I love Jaime's Riverlands stuff and it's great to see it unfolding on screen pretty much the way I envisioned it. And of course, Bronn is a fantastic edition to it. Jaime smacking that Frey with his golden hand was great, I love it when we see this Jaime come out. Stoked to finally see him and Brienne reunited next week, and where the Riverlands stuff heads in general. I'm still hoping we a get a "Put this in the fire" moment from A Feast For Crows or something equivalent. -Arya's scene shocked the hell out of me and nearly gave me a heart attack. I'm sure she'll come out of this alright... but I can't handle the stress. -How great was Lyanna Mormont? Bear Island looked beautiful too. The scenes with Jon, Davos, and Sansa trying to rally their North to their cause were all great. I imagine Sansa is writing a letter to Littlefinger, but deep down I hope it was Wyman Wanderly. Where's Mel been recently? I want to see more of her. -Theon and Yara's scene was brief but good, it seems as if Theon is finally starting to come back to him old self... or maybe a better version of his old self. -I might be one of the few loving the King's Landing stuff, there's some serious scheming going on right now between Margaery and the High Sparrow. Olenna verbally destroying Cersei was fantastic as always. Excited for sh*t to go down in King's Landing in the coming weeks. Allegedly the synopsis for episode 8, 9, and 10 have been released. Potential SPOILERS!
Episode 8 - No One: Tyrion finds cause for concern. Cersei prepares for the worst. Sansa takes control. Arya is not alone.
Episode 9 - Battle of the Bastards: Ramsay surprises his audience. Jon retaliates. Dany is true to her word.
Episode 10 - The Winds Of Winter: A queen comes forth. Euron reveals himself. Brienne meets a friend turned foe. King’s Landing awaits justice. The Night’s Watch gathers.
