Here's a base line list of what you're owed as a writer in the WFWF. - An opponent courteous enough to show for your match. So your opponent didn't put together some encyclopedic deconstruction of your character. Big whoop. Take the likely win, move on, and hope that the next guy does. F*ck, my character has been sober for six plus months and like two or three of my opponents since then have focused solely on the idea that he's a lousy drunk looking for the next drop of a bottle, which means they're not just reading my stuff, but they're not reading the shows either, and each of them has a fair bit more than two shows under their belt. You got the courtesy of at least one of your opponents taking the time to write and code something for a match scheduled against you, and in two brief statements, you publicly dismissed the entire piece of work, and now you're trying to defend that stance by saying that, in essence, his approach isn't up to your standards? Get out of here with that. I could numb my thumbs hammering out a list of people capable of putting as good if not better pieces than you who've faced off against writers depths beneath what your opponent has handed you, and I'd be hard pressed to come up with a single one of them who responded with such a deal of basic common respect as you have. We may not all be on equal footing here, artistically, but as far as I'm concerned, until someone steps out of line in terms of how they're treating their peers, they deserve the basic courtesy of not being told that their efforts were a waste of anyone's time. Nothing you could possibly say in response is ever going to make me think otherwise in that respect. That's not a sentiment I'd even lob at bad guy™, who I've butted heads with more times than I can count. Hell, I wouldn't say that sort of thing to Dex, who I've routinely accused of being pushed further than his writing ever warranted. Can Pacific Rim come and go already? I'd hate to think I might be wasting anyone else's time.

I never said that and in my last response, I made myself very clear on what my gripes were. If reading your opponents profile, show segments and RPs is too much to ask, then I don't know what to tell you. The bottom line is this: I feel that Young put in little effort and so many others put in a lot. That bothers me. You seem to have mostly enjoyed his effort and that's fine, but don't paint me as attacking him and please, stop putting words in my mouth.

Sorry - since we're dictating the approach others take in their writing, how would you like me to articulate the perceived intent of you saying you want the time used reading his work back?

I fear I've missed something here? Whatever it is I'm fairly certain it doesn't require this much PDA gentlemen. If what I've gathered from these last few posts is right then all I can say is constructive criticism is always better than a straight discounting of someone's work, simply because it might put the writer off any further RPing at all, and who knows they may grow into the next champion given time and guidance. That being said CM Poor jumping down a new guy's throat could cause them to hightail it as well, and personally I don't want that either. I'll always welcome any writing style and ability of writer because at the end of the day you're only gonna win matches here if me and Rated R deem your stuff of a good quality, wether it's too our tastes or not. I feel we're both objective enough to see past our own personal preferences, and as such there's no point cussing someone out for their RP, because at the end of the day if something blows then it won't earn them a W. Simple as that. People learn or they leave. There aren't many over the years who've remained at the same level, making no adjustments based on advice given, and stuck around for longer than a few months. I think what I'm trying to say is can y'all play a bit nicer please? *Waits to be cussed out or something similar*

I'm sorry I made people upset by not letting my virtual wrestling character take someone elses virtual wrestling character seriously. :^(
I'm not fussed if he thought my RP was a waste of time, at least he read it. That's what matters to me. <3

Let's try and keep it that way.

I made a rude, dismissive and short-sighted comment about Young's RP. To him, I want to apologize.
I felt that you didn't take your RP very seriously, and I don't mean the comedy of it. But if I felt that way, I should have came to you with it, not posted a knee-jerk reaction on here.
I genuinely appreciate you putting up a RP, whether I enjoyed it as a whole or not.
To everyone else that had to go along for the ride of two grown men getting far too worked up over fiction, I'm sorry. It won't happen again.
For the record, I'm not quitting, as that last bit may have come off as overly dramatic.

Your apology means nothing in the sense you have nothing to apologise for, opinions are meant to be shared. That being said, I like writing from the viewpoints of characters. In my next fantasy booking fed show, there's going to be a few choice words for WFWF (none of it to be taken to heart). If anyone fancies getting involved in any inter-fed stuff (even if it's a one off appearance) feel free to PM me <3

You'd be hard pressed to bring yourself down to my level squire. I've got six pages in, but all I've touched on so far is the fact that you finally got a haircut.

I'm just now realizing that there are a lot of non-americans here. I use that term because I don't want to blindly say Europeans or 'Brits'.

The road is open for CM Poor to go hog wild. Now to petition the owners to rename the PPV to "Checkmate" instead of "Pacific Rim".
