No offense intended, last year's made sense. But moving forward, there are no other members of the public who really make a lot of sense giving the award to. Connor was at least involved and interested. I think they're going to need to look at other people to include eg the people backstage. If they keep inducting a series of people who aren't as heavily connected, it's going to take away from the whole idea and concept behind it.

It's the WWE Hall of Fame, not a Nobel F'n Peace Prize. It's a wrestling hall of fame that includes Drew Carey, how seriousness are you going to take it?

No offense, but does Joan Lunden even want the Ultimate Warrior award? If it will give her time to make a twenty minute speech raising more awareness, of course she will.

I wasn't buying into the whole Connor thing WWE was doing last year, I'm sorry if I come off disrespectful but to me it just felt like WWE trying to do something good when really they just want attention for their company. Good for Lunden to beat cancer, but the Warrior Award is meant for the people who work backstage and hardly get any credit for their hard work.

Roman should win it. The guy got a broken nose a few weeks ago and rose up to take out Triple H on Raw. *had his face reconstructed, MAGGLE

So, I'm not trying to hate on little Connor or the person who is going to receive it this year. BUT.... Didn't Ultimate Warrior say that he wanted this award to be for the people who don't get recognition behind the scenes in WWE? I think Connor was a good choice for how amazing of a little kid he was. I just think if they want to do this, they should maybe give out another award. Idk, what do you guys think? P.S. Congrats to Lunden for being able to survive and beat cancer. Couldn't have said it better myself!! WWE is so full of crap!! That man died a week after Wrestlemania and instead of honoring one of his wishes; they capitalize of his name with an award they could have had anyways. The Warrior award was meant for the guys we don't know who makes the company tick. Congrats to the people honored with the award but it wasn't meant for that!!

Does... does this mean Joan Lunden will be inducted in the HOF?

Is Joan Lunden a Mom? Every time a mom gets an award, Mr. T should be presenting it... just saying...

You are correct that Warrior said it should be for people that work backstage. But since they've given it away once to Connor the Crusher, the precedent has kinda been set that it isn't for that.

The only positive now about the Warrior Award going to those sort of people, is that people who are watching the HOF on the Network can use that time to use the bathroom, or get something to eat, or walk the dog, and not have to worry about missing any of the speeches that the wrestlers would be giving.
