Can any one tell me why Mattel dropped the whole display stand gimmick after 1 year as I enjoyed the feature. I guess it's down to cost but it can't be too expensive surely

I think it was just a promotional thing for the first year like the 1/1000 chase belts.

I haven't needed them as the figures stand up pretty well on their own.

I asked Mattel about the clear stands they use to display their figures at showcases, but they said they don't sell those. Those look to be fairly inexpensive to make. Too bad they won't do that.

I think it was just a promotional thing for the first year like the 1/1000 chase belts. They cut them because of budget cuts

They should bring them back or at least sell them separately like RSC is doing with the ring skirts.

Wish Mattel would start manufacturing them again, even as an RSC exclusive. I'm down to my last few, with many more figures coming.

I've got about 400 of them sitting in a box not being used.

A friend gave me a couple, and I ordered a set on eBay but I would still love to get my hands on more.

I'm hoping wicked cool toys makes them. They seem to make anything Mattel doesn't want any part of. I would buy them for sure.

Never picked up the deluxe display stands but I wish I had a couple of sets now. My whole display uses the regular display stands and I'm starting to run low so here's hoping there are some coming in the future. RSC ask the design team for the stands as an exclusive I'm sure a bunch of us would buy the crap out of them!
