I finally opened up and built the Authentic scale ring and classic steel cage sets that I purchased from ringside collectibles on Black Friday, and absolutely love it, however I have a question regarding the ring posts, are the posts supposed to snap into the ring base? Because mine don't.

They should click down, did you push them down into the slots or are they perfectly aligned? This may be why.

They were aligned correctly, I wonder if I have defected parts.

If its defective, I doubt its for all the 4 ring posts. Do the ring posts fit in snugly or are they loose? It should be fitted in there nicely and shouldn't budge. If its loose, try pushing it in further.

Sometimes the slots have excess plastic or the posts just have a little trouble. Almost all of my rings needed force to get posts into place. Just push down hard. And push straight down. None of that tilted to the side business or SNAP!

Do they pop off easily? Because I don't want them to snap When I change posts, I have white, black and blue posts.
