Also does anyone know when they lose their license?

Depends on who takes over and the scale/quality of the product they put out.
They signed a new 5 year deal back in Feb of 2014.

Only if they go back to Jakks. I refuse to downgrade.
I already have Hardy, Hogan, Sting, Macho Man, Cena and all the dudes that are important to me in Mattel form anyways.
I wouldn't stop or sell all of my Mattel's, though. I'd only stop if Jakks came back.
The license comes up for renewal in 2019.

Mattel's WWE lines is one of the top selling toy lines in the US (no idea what it looks like internationally). I'm not an expert on this sort of thing but I'm sure their deal will get extended before it runs out. WWE and Mattel are making boat loads of cash so it's in both company's best interest to keep the gravy train rolling for as long as possible, as long as it stays profitable.
But to answer your question, yes I will keep collecting...unless we get some weird, out of scale, junk figures like the new ROH line.

Glad to see we're keeping the trend of positivity around here. Let's enjoy what we have, and not worry about what could or could not happen years down the road.
Y'all booty.

Are they reusing Jakks parts or am I just imagining things?

Will you keep on buying wwe figures? Or will you stop collecting? No matter who takes over, I'll buy them if they are good. If not then no.

I don't expect Mattel to lose it honestly. But I'd keep buying as long as they looked equal to now or better. I wish NECA could make some WWE figures, though that would never happen because kids can't play with NECA figures lol

Speaking of which Tamashii Nations made a post on their FB page asking what people would think of having a Figuarts Cena and Rock...
Damn if those guys decide to go for WWE license then Mattel better watch out.
However Figuarts figures cost on average 50 dollars...
Would only make sense if it would become a secondary line for adult collectors. And Mattel would have to drop Elite and focus on a kids line.

Part of me feels Mattel is getting a little stale.

I would have to wait and see how the new figures would look like.
If they're good, I'll continue. If they look bad, I won't.

Well since Mattel Figures would lose all there values, I will stick with Mattel.

Part of me feels Mattel is getting a little stale. Complacent maybe Could be, since I still think Elites and Basics are a good value at their price. Lately there's been a bunch of releases that I haven't bought or preordered, when in the past, I would've snapped them up on day one, like RSC Nash, NOD, Nasty Boys, Harts, etc.

I probably will if the new company does a 3.75 scale but I could see Mattel keeping the license for the next 15 years or so, why would they lose it?

I would only stop of the new company made an inferior product than Mattel. I REALLY hope that Mattel doesn't lose the license in 2019. That would SUCK!!!!!
