Studd/Bundy Sheik/Volkoff Twin Towers Ultimate Maniacs Strike Force Money Inc Taker/Bearer BOTH Kona & Evil Crush Razor/Diesel Hart Foundation Flair vs Dusty Rhodes (NWA)
and SOOO many more as well!
what do you say guys, would you like to see some of these made?

I want a Luger/Yokozuna BP.
I think the Target Hall of Fame line should do Battle Packs next year.

This is how we should just start getting most of the classic tag teams. More people would likely buy a Battle Pack for $20 of, say, Killer Bees than pay $20 per figure of them.

I know I would MUCH rather buy Battle Packs for Strike Force and the Killer Bees for 40 rather than spend 80 and get four Elites.

I doubt we'll get the Ultimate Maniacs, they're being released as Elites in E44 & E45 I believe it is, according to the leaked list

I like this idea a lot, I always hated when a legend figure was packed in with a contemporary wrestler. I always passed and now I regret not getting some of the all stars packs

Basic single release Legends usually dont sell very well because most collectors dont like the basic style figure. There are a lot of people that would be very upset if Mattel decided to put Legend tag teams in a battle pack without having them in Elite style (repaints are ok). Much like the current Bushwackers, I personally wouldnt even bother buying them because the Elite versions are far superior.

Where I live, the Legends basics are the first from each series to sell out and multiples of Cena, Reigns and co. are left on the shelves (I saw like 6 or more x Cena left from B56 after everyone else had sold out). Most tag teams have been made in Elite so people have had their chance to get them and now let's start releasing basic versions of Nasty Boys, Hart Foundation, Red LOD, Rockers, etc. Bill said in the WM Q&A that more legends basics were coming so it's happening (and rightfully so).

You're also looking at it from a retail stand point. Mattel's distribution is beyond awful. Pretty much every SummerSlam/Wrestlemania Heritage figure has gone into discount stores (Ollies, Ross, Big Lots etc) so while they might be going off the shelves, its not because they're selling. They're just being pushed aside. I like using RSC as a base on how well things are selling because they have direct access with Mattel. Your major names like Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin & The Rock all have basic figures readily available at under retail costs. That tells me that they're not moving. If the biggest names in wrestling arent moving at retail cost, what makes someone think that a tag team that isnt a very big name to casual/younger fans like Strike Force or Sheik/Volkoff would sell? They wont. New Age Outlaws are still hanging around. Blue Legion of Doom is still hanging around. Those damn Wrestlemania 2 packs are clogging HARD right now. The Bushwackers are a lock to to the same. Elite Legends 2 packs were only like $29.99 and it killed a complete line. Its simply just not gonna happen.

I'd like to see it happen. The Legend basic figures sell pretty well around here. My only request is to make them different from previous releases. The new Bushwackers are a great example of this. Some of my ideas would be
Legion of Doom - red/black/white 97 attire Hart Foundation- all pink attire Rockers- the predominately yellow attire ala Jakks CSTT version
Nasty Boys- WWF 1990-92 attire

No, not where I am - figs are only sold at retail here, not in discount stores or the second market. WM heritage pretty much sold out in a few weeks, which was quicker than other Basic sets around here - Razor is obviously the real legend of the set and was the first to sell out, while Reigns the current guy was the last to sell out (he can still be found in some places). B56 can still easily find Cena and no others. Like I was saying Bill said in the WM Q&A that more legends basics are coming so obviously they are doing well and there's no point arguing that ;-)

I'd like to see The Rockers and a trio-pack of Demolition released.
