He used the Wolfpac theme instead of the nWo theme. Besides, it fits his personality better than Rockhouse.
I had this random thought while watching Nitro earlier...plus, it's just such a great theme song. And WWE does own the rights to it as they released it on a WCW soundtrack a few years ago. It's how we finally got it in HQ.

It was very nostalgic and cool to see Nash use the nWo theme but I agree the Wolfpac theme would've been far more fitting.
Also imagine the pop from the crowd if the Wolfpac music played.

I don't know why he just didn't use the Diesel theme he used at the Royal Rumble that year.
The NWO theme for him always seemed wrong. Because it wasn't HIS music, it was the NWO's music.

First thing that popped in my head when I read the title was...If he didn't get hurt. lol But could he really be a Wolfpack by himself?

Would have been better if he didn't come back tbh.
He ran his course and his return in 2003 was proof of that. He struggled to put on good matches, imo.
Don't get me wrong, I love Kevin Nash. I just didn't think he should have returned.

I really enjoyed his short 2011 run. It would've been better if he never crossed paths with CM Punk and I always wondered why he didn't use this theme since he was the leader of the wolfpac and all.

Kevin Nash was 53 years old during that time frame. He even talks about how stupid it was for him to be booked in a ladder match at age 53, with a dozen knee operations, and 2 broken necks in his career.

everything to do with Kevin Nash in WWE after his WcW run as just ridiculous lol. I wish they had him make the run as Diesel and not Nash, but i guess, once you know his real name, it's hard to go back to the gimmick. Wolfpack theme would have helped that run, I do agree.

If it hadn't happened. The Royal Rumble appearance was great, you can keep that, but everything else shouldn't happened. That ladder match was a complete waste of time.

I just didn't think he should have returned. His 2003 run was fine. The only match that was a disappointment was at Judgement Day, and that was more due to the booking than the performers themselves. His HIAC with HHH is one of the more underrated Cell matches, and they also put in an entertaining street fight at Insurection. The 6 man tag at Backlash was solid, and the hair match with Jericho was fine as well. Anyway, yeah the Wolfpac theme would have fit better. He used it as a singles performer in WCW, so no reason he couldn't use it here. Or just use the Diesel music.

LOL am I the only person that has enjoyed Nash in every iteration? My only criticism is that he jobbed way too much after WCW. I've never been a fan of the whole "if you're a veteran you have to put younger guys over". Sometimes it works. But not always. Nobody was more over in 2002 than the NWO. The only reason they put an end to it was because Stone Cold was butthurt about Hogan getting more pops than him. That angle should have lasted longer. Sometimes the WWE should just listen to the universe. Sting should have gone over at Mania. Reigns won the wrong Royal Rumble (should have won in 2014). And nobody, and I mean NOBODY, gives a about The Big Show.
