Hey everyone not sure if this had been talked about before or not but does anyone know if u can tell the difference between the Mail away Purple Heart Bret and the reg blue card purple hart Bret if both were loose in front of u??

No. Unless it's bagged a purple Hart is a regular Hart to me.

I bought the Purple Hart Bret loose and i would never consider it a mail-away version because there's no way of telling.

From what I remember there are differences in hairline, and the colour of the stars on his boots. Sure I've read that, don't think I'm imagining it

There are no hard differences between the mailaway and the carded figure. There are some paint differences that show up on all versions; things like the hairline are just down to whoever was painting that particular figure doing it different. I've had the mailaway loose and the carded one loose (where I got it MOC and took it out of the package...this was the 90s kids, and we did that to figures sometimes! LOL) and the truth is there's really just no way to tell the difference loose.

There was rumour that there was a Bret Hart Purple heart released on card, due to demand. Doubt thats true.
