I'm going to play Purple Rain on vinyl all day. If I were the crying type, I'd be in tears.

Davis Bowie, Alan Rickman, Ronnie Corbett, Chyna and now Prince, I hate to say this, but I feel like there is more to come. Forgot Doris Roberts.

Davis Bowie, Alan Rickman, Ronnie Corbett, Chyna and now Prince, I hate to say this, but I feel like there is more to come. You're not the only one. It seems like every other week now there is some big name falling. I just have this feeling that it's going to continue all year. While I won't claim to be his biggest fan as I only own one of his greatest hits albums, Prince had some amazing songs. My favourite of which has to be When Doves Cry.

I can't even believe this man. Huge part of my life, I love him so damn much. Leave my favorite artists alone god. Take the talentless people like Beyonce, Nickleback, Creed, Beiber, just give us back Bowie and Prince. I'm gonna go cry in the corner now....

He'll be most remembered for his general influence on pop music and overall talent. Which is prefectly fine. But, for me, he was one of the most underrated guitarists of the last 37 or so years. Even though I'm not the worlds biggest pop music fan (i tend to go a little more rock, hard rock, punk ,metal) this guy was one of the few exceptions to that. Moreso than Michael Jackson, who did have a handful of songs i like.....all from the same album......Prince had several songs i liked over the course of several albums. Purple Rain (a masterpiece record....period), the 89 Batman soundtrack, Diamonds and Pearls and its follow up. His music filled many a school day from the 80s to the early 90s. R.I.P. Prince.......you left your mark on music and what appears to be a metric ton of talentless hack wannabes.
Lastly, I'd like to say that I'm getting tired of writing eulogies on here every few weeks......meaning ,hey 2016, cut this crap out already!!!!!!

Freaking sucks. I remember when "1999" came out many years before the actual 1999. We thought the world was going to be so different. Wish we were right. RIP Prince. The purple lights dim tonight.

Wow....Im in Atlanta and had a chance to buy 2 tickets for $1600 at the last night minute for his final performance. If I hadve known I wouldve been proud to fork it out. A solid influence in Rock/Pop and Pop culture and for myself and a generation. Farrah Fawcett/Michael Jackson, same day within hrs. Today Chyna/Prince within hrs...A sad day around the world....only Madonna is left and she's knocking on the door how bad she looks.
R.I.P Prince Rogers Nelson

This is weird to hear about.. Prince was one of those few larger than life human beings that you believed would live forever. I agree...maybe its his mixed Heritage but dude looked just like Purple Rain Prince all these years...just cut and paste different hairstyles. Was in good shape...spiritual...all that. But today his number got called.

This performance is absolutely ing legendary, I love it. The man was highly underrated for his talent on the guitar. Dude proved he deserved to be on the Hall of fame with just that one Solo there. I will miss him so damn much. I have nearly all his CD's except the one that just came out not too long ago. Even all the bands he helped produce too like the Time, Mazarati, The Family, all sorts of stuff. He's a huge part of my family. Gonna watch Purple Rain tonight. Probably Under the Cherry Moon too. I'm so ig bummed guys. I really don't want to believe thus legend is gone
