Once I opened the figure this is the first thing that popped into mind, he can't put his arms down with that horrible rubber jacket. Im pretty disappointed that for a defining moments figure with only ONE accessory they went the cheap route and gave him a rubber jacket. My Stong has the lace boots, which im reading on here is not popular with some, is there any reason why?

Lol I can't think of ralphie's little brothers name.
The rubber jacket should be cloth. The new Dm warrior shouldn't be a Dm at all, it only comes with glasses. (Not to mention, my tru has these things priced at 26.99)

Big deal, what's the point in complaining about a figure that's already released? Yeah it could have been better but really it's not that big of a deal. Perfectionist at its worst. How did you react to most of the crap jakks put out?

I'm buying mine loose without the jacket. Ralph's I feel is going to have a large amount of people wanting a soft goods version as opposed to the plastic one here, which is disappointing in what's supposed to be the premium range.

No one else has mentioned it.I can't pinpoint it exactly but it was a few years ago around wrestlemania season when the whole notion of Sting vs. Undertaker was rumoured. I don't know who did it exactly but it was obviously a typo in the endless threads/debates: "Stong" and well, WF just ran with it.

My Stong has the lace boots, which im reading on here is not popular with some, is there any reason why? ...because it's not accurate. Sting wore a type of boot that was so specific to him that that style of boot is called the Sting boot if you were to look at ordering a pair wrestling boots. I just personally thought it was ridiculous when they have specific boots for guys like Demolition, Brock, Batista, Lawler, Ziggler, Billy Gunn, etc but they didn't get it right with Sting (the guy that originated that style of boot).

Didn't Jakks release a soft good coat for their classic deluxe sting?

Didn't Jakks release a soft good coat for their classic deluxe sting? They did but it's slightly too big and the colors are a little off too. Someone on here posted pics recently of the Mattel Sting in the Jakks Sting jacket.

They had one accessory and they went with cheap plastic on a $30 figure. Not worth it I believe.

Mattel knew we all wanted the cloth jacket and they still did a rubber one and then had the nerve to call it a DM and gave it a higher price. Just pisses me off. After tax it's 30 bucks in NYC.

I like they jacket. It has greater details than a soft goods jacket would have. That is more important to me than mobility seeing it is just going to be standing on a shelf.

Jacket being molded was an aesthetic decision based on the facts 1) Sting's arm streamers were much thinner and more numerous than Macho Man's. If I used a SG jacket he would have streamers the same size as Macho Man's, which I did not want (they have to be a certain size to avoid choking hazards, no way around it). 2) I would also have lost the epaulets on the shoulders. If I would have produced a SG jacket with wide arm streamers and no shoulder epaulets I would have heard the feedback as well I am sure.
