Triple H has signed a new three-year deal with WWE in a wrestling capacity.
According to sources, paperwork filed with the SEC shows that “The Game” signed the deal as of yesterday, so it will run through WrestleMania 35. The deal will renew annually after that until either party decides that they want to end the deal.

I am not going to lie kinda wish Triple would retire his on screen prosona and just work at his desk in the back , over 20 years of being on tv is good. He has no more to show me, same goes for Henry Big show and kane

Good! As I said the other day, I would like to see him wrestle more with some of the younger guys. His matches with Dean & Dolph were both fantastic. And by doing so, he can teach them ring psychology first hand rather then telling them in a classroom.

just keep him away from the title pls. This. I'm fine with it as long as he's not perpetually in the title hunt.

I was saying to my friend when I first saw this that its funny how we kinda forget Triple H still needs a contract. You kinda just assume it's all just automatic. Then you see this report and are like "Oh yeah!"

Im a fan so this is good news
This makes me think he will return with long hair
He could do the whole promo about how he was a degenerate & bad ass and that he sold out and cut his hair trying to be something he is not blah blah blah but he is done with it and now he is back to being the asskicker he always was and now he wants his wwe title back
Or
I could see him coming back and conspiring with Vince to take control from shane/steph and do the whole this is what I always wanted me and Vince running the show with Shane and steph out of the picture type of story

Maybe that's why he hasn't been on TV since WM. Technically not a "performer" without the contract.

Good. His Authority schtick got old and has ran its course. Shouldve stopped doing it after the Daniel Bryan feud.

He should have to choose between an on screen character, and behind the scenes. Not both. If you dont think he had something to do with having himself in the main event of the biggest mania of all time, your nuts. Its absolutely ridiculous that he can be on screen and pulling the strings at the same time.

If you dont think he had something to do with having himself in the main event of the biggest mania of all time, your nuts. Its absolutely ridiculous that he can be on screen and pulling the strings at the same time. To be fair though I think the original plan was probably Reigns vs Rollins but Rollins got hurt. The only thing you could really blame WWE for is not having any other credible heels to fill that spot other than Triple H. The story itself made a lot of sense. Sure Triple H probably used his situation to get ahead. All of the most successful guys have played politics backstage. All of the attitude era guys have said that backstage was super competitive. I don't blame him for taking advantage of what he had. It's not like Triple H didn't have the goods to get there on his own anyway. He always was and still is an elite performer who is still better than 90% of the roster. The internet bashes Triple H for burying people but forgets how stuff we love like NXT is his baby. Triple H was also instrumental in bringing guys like Bruno Sammartino and Ultimate Warrior back into the WWE family. Maybe if Triple H had his way WWE would be in a much better state right now.
