So I wanted to be that guy who got both the correct DM GAB Sting and the wrong boot one.
I'll post pics tomorrow but I ended up getting one with wrong boots and one with the right leg having the wrong boots and the left leg having the correct top of the boots but a laced bottom half of the boots. Again, pics tomorrow.
I don't plan on selling the half right/half wrong Sting as I now plan on having three GAB Stings so he can sign one in red, one in silver , and one in blue., but I was wondering if anyone saw it before and if factory errors are valuable.
I'm hoping my Ringside Order will have the proper boots. I stupidly ordered one with a bunch of other figures that haven't been released yet (Surfer Sting, Elite Owens, Becky Lynch)

Has there always been this many factory error posts on this board? I feel like I read a new one every day.
Anyways, No. Factory errors aren't worth jack s***. The only exception I can think of is if an error somehow made the figure look cooler, which I can't think of an example of. Maybe someone else can. Either way, I don't think a Sting boot with an identity crisis qualifies.
Then again, I've seen people shell out money for some atrocities, so you never know.
Hope you get the right Sting from RSC though!

I hate that they screwed the boots up to begin with.. why do that when they already had the right mold?
At least they fixed it...

Your figure is the exact moment they transitioned boots. Solid!

Errors are worth money to the right person. I think that's pretty cool to find one that messed up. also so far I haven't heard anyone getting the wrong boots from RSC

I'd be happy with that. $hit, all I ever see is the laced ones. So I just cut off the tippy top of the boot to make it a TAD more accurate.

THis is the first variant of sorts. The one with the laced boots. This is the error. On the left leg, the top is the correct boot, but the bottom is the laced. Here they are side by side Here is the error zoomed in

Here is the error zoomed in I think that is a lace boot also. It looks like they put the foot onto the boot backwards.

I think that is a lace boot also. It looks like they put the foot on it backwards. I don't open my figures, so I can't confirm. BUt I can say that the sole of the boot does not look like it fits properly with the top half of the boot. SO, it may be just on backwards.

I guess the Mattel WWE market differs, which makes sense since people like to take figures apart for customs. Regardless, it doesn't matter to me as I'm now planning on getting Sting to sign three of these figures. It's "unique" to me so I'm good with that.
