I had an interesting afternoon where a wildfire broke out six houses down from ours. It was bad enough that choppers came in to drop water on it, and we were told to evacuate. Lots of thoughts run through your head when you're told to evacuate. The safety of my family, my friends and neighbors, their animals, the firefighters trying to help us, and then all the things that will potentially burn down and you'll never see again. Thankfully, they were able to put out the fire and the neighborhood returned to normal.
At some point I thought about my figure collection. Hundreds of figures from LJN, Hasbro, and Mattel that I've worked hard to hunt down, display, and curate a collection that makes me happy. Figures I've had since I was a kid. I got to thinking if I could only grab three of my Mattel figures (the easiest to get to) which would I chose and why?
1. Legends Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat - My all-time favorite wrestler. The figure is simple and still easy to get, but I would still want the first one I bought. 2. Legends "Macho Man" Randy Savage - Another one of my all-time favorites. This figure takes me back to the 80's when I fell in love with wrestling. I'd save him on nostalgia alone. And I can't have Steamboat without Savage. 3. All Stars Jake "The Snake" Roberts - I'm realizing that to this day, I still love the feuds Steamboat had in the 80's. Savage and Jake were two of his best. It's not a flashy figure, but I still love it.
Those are my three. I'm realizing for me, my collection has less to do with how much money each figure is worth, but instead how much the characters and stories have meant to me.
So, which three figure would you save and why? Would you save the ones that are hardest to replace? The ones worth the most money? Or the ones that mean the most to you? Don't over think it, in case of a fire, you don't have a lot of time. What's the first three figures you grab?

Now that you mentioned it, I wonder if there are any fireproof display shelves...
Someone from E1 E41 Balor I have no idea who the 3rd one will be. Really tough to choose.

Honestly, there's a lot of other immaterial things that I would grab first before any action figure, but to stay on topic, it'd definitely have to be 3 MOC autographed figures. I'd probably have to go with:
Undertaker Unmatched Fury - When WWE was still doing FCW, a way to get people to come was to do gold circle tickets which included a meet & greet with a WWE Superstar. They had Undertaker there in 2012, and at that time, Undertaker signings were super rare, so I made the flight. He was dressed up as the American Bad Ass, told him I flew from Texas so we chatted about TX traffic for a bit, and he was just really cool. Bayley Basic - Met her when I went to the Performance Center in January. As many would image, she is a super cool person and very appreciative of her fans. Talked to her about her match in Brooklyn and other stuff, and I could tell she really liked seeing herself as an action figure. 3rd one is a tie between Sami Zayn Elite cause he was a cool guy when I met him at the PC as well, tried to teach me apple in Spanish but I told him I'm Hispanic, I already knew, and Bret Hart RSC Elite cause it's just a really cool looking figure, and he was also real cool when I met him at a Wizard World a few years ago.

I don't think saving action figures will be on my mind when my house is on fire. Going off topic for a bit, there is 1 non-wrestling autograph I would grab just because of how much it means to me, but I'd be quick to grab some electronics first, probably at least 1 of my 12TB External Hard Drives. I could also buy the backup 12TB again.

To those answering "oh, I wouldn't be thinking of toys if my house was on fire", just answer the damn question, this is supposed to be a fun, random topic. YES, honestly we would NOT be thinking of toys if our houses were set ablaze but just humor the topic, will ya? For me my top three would be Legends Series Eddie Guerrero because he holds a special place in my heart (Eddie does, not the figure. But the figure represents him.) RSC Exclusive Brock Lesnar (cause I'm a Lesnar mark and I need him for Eddie to go over lol) And last would be that rumored Magnum TA figure from Elite 46. Cause I've been waiting soooooo damn long for that damn figure. If he's not confirmed then my third fig would be DM Sting. That's such a great figure overall.

Considering all the newer Elites have hideous gaps where the parts connect anything after Elite Series 20 is going with the fire.
All Stars Elite Punk Ringside SES Punk Elite 17 Mankind
Those are the guys I'm risking burns for.
