I think the time has come to take a break from WWE. The tipping point came last week with Rollins returning and immediately going heel. I actually turned off RAW after that segment because the inevitable is coming....3 or 4 straight jobs to Reigns.
But the real point of no return came last night. In between periods of the Stanley Cup finals I switched to Raw and Cena's return was on. When I heard Styles' music hit I thought it was cool. Figured face Styles versus Cena would be a good feud with Styles possibly taking 2 out of 3, then WWE booking happened. Heel AJ. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. So the #1 babyface the last few months is now heel and will job out to Cena for 2 or 3 PPV's?!?!?
Why I am taking a break from watching is because I can't take the predictability of this show any more. WWE is ruining any momentum their new/young stars have by pairing them against Reigns/Cena. Because once they get decimated by the golden children, they go back to midcard obscurity. It's totally frustrating and to be honest, there's about 10 other things I can do productively instead of wasting 3 hours on Monday and 2 on Thursday(rarely).
I know I'll get the "don't watch then" responses and fine, but even with a brand split and live SD, short of a miracle consisting of new ownership/creative teams/edgier product/better booking, I think I'll be fine following results and not beating my brain by watching this mess.

Yep, stop watching may be the best idea for you. You never seem to have anything positive to say about WWE.

It is a rather pigheaded move on Vince's part to have Rollins remain a heel.
As far as AJ goes, I'm holding out hope that Cena is in a place in his career where he is comfortable getting new guys over.
But then again, I've been let down before. I'm a fan of both Reigns and Cena. Its their booking that perplexes me.
Rollins could've (and should've ) gotten that HUGE "I just returned and the fans love me even though I was a bad guy when I left" run ala HHH in 2002.
I would like to believe there is a grand scheme goin on with Rollins.
Because for some reason, I'm seeing HHH interfere in his title match to set something up for SummerSlam. And let's face it, with a good chunk of the injured ppl back, SummerSlam is going to be the true WrestleMania for WWE in 2016 and they need some marquee matches.
But. Then again, that'd be too easy lol. We've all taken breaks from what we love before. You'll be back in due time man. We all come back as fans in some capacity or another.

If ya don't like it, don't watch it. Simple as that. That's what I do. I appreciate it for what it is though. I only watch the Rumble and Mania every year because those were always my favorite PPV's. Last one I watched that wasn't related to those two was when Lesnar came back.

Yeah I guess if your not enjoying it anymore, but as predictable as it may seem at times that not how it always happens. So I hope none of that comes true so it shows that there not predictable.

Wrestling for us is like a drug and drug addicts are quitting every day and they always go back to get their fix. And you will too. I've "quit" wrestling many times, and although I don't shoot as much of it in my veins, I still pay every month for it.

AJ gives better promos as a heel.

AJ gives better promos as a heel. I like heel AJ more. It was also a perfect scenario for a turn. It was unexpected to me though.

I'm gonna go with AJ Styles going over Cena. It's just a perfect time. And even if he does a Kevin Owens where he wins one out of three, it will still do good for him if he wins clean like Owens.
Rollins on the other hand, was a bit odd. He is so face in all aspects except for character. He cemented himself as a cowardly dude all last year, and just because people like him doesn't mean he's gonna change on a dime. Even if he returned like Triple H in 02, he would be back to being a heel in no time.

Yep, stop watching may be the best idea for you. You never seem to have anything positive to say about WWE. Not true, the matches WWE have been putting out lately have been great, especially the midcarders, but the projection and booking is what is absolutely driving me away as a fan. And yeah everyone says enjoy it for what it is, but for someone who has been watching for 23 out of 26 years of life, it's hard to accept the garbage they have been putting out for so long. Sorry if it is cynical, but its frustrating to see such a talented roster get ruined by horrible creative direction.

But he is coming back to face the most hated babyface in recent time. Roman looks, sounds, and acts like a heel, why not turn him heel and have Rollins face. Give the show some new dynamic.

I've been in your shoes before. I've had to step away. It helped a lot for sure. I still get pissed from time to time, booking wise.

You expected a face AJ to feud with a face Cena. Then AJ turns heel suddenly. But you can't take the predictability? Screw all that noise, I loved it. Caught me off guard. And as I said in the draft thread, WWE was in dire need of another top heel. Now we have one.
Arrivederci.
