I put in a big order with Ringside, including all of Elite 43 except for ADR. Most of the figures had paint issues. These are the worst. Not sure what happened to Kevin Owens' neck. And the paint app on Kofi was so bad. I was on the fence about ordering him, and now I wish I hadn't. I doubt there's anything Ringside could do, but I plan on contacting its customer service. I also ordered a damaged package Wicked Cool Toys classic steel cage. Box damage doesn't matter to me, but the cage had clearly been removed from the package before. The ring skirts were unfolded. It seemed like every piece was just thrown into the box. If it's pre-owned, it'd be nice to know. Definitely puts a damper on a couple-hundred-dollar order.

Im glad these threads keep popping up, MattelDesignTeam needs to start taking notice of all these problems. Im not paying 26$ anymore for figures with quality control problems.

That's horrible, man! I'm a bit worried to see what pops in my set when I get them in the mail.

Damn and I thought the paint smudges on my Joe were bad, that sucks man. How are the hands for your KO? Are they floppy like mine?

Don't preorder/problem solved. Wait till you find at retail. The "I paid $20-30 for a figure it should be perfect" line is getting old. It's a mass produced toy aimed towards children. There will be quality issues with anything and everything. Can't handle it dont buy it sight unseen or not at all.

I'd say lowering standards is getting older than people pointing out legit QC problems.

This is exactly why I stopped preordering. It's even worse with ringside exclusives, because they're only on ringside! Mattel, please take notice

How does something like the Kofi even make it out of the warehouse? There's nothing wrong with complaining about legitimate issues.

Do you honestly think they sit there at the factory and inspect each and every single figure or item that rolls off the line? Hell no. What I'm saying is there will be issues with anything and everything that's mass produced. And if issues like that are that big of a deal dont buy it till you can inspect it at retail instead of blind purchasing it.

I just can't get over how some people will defend Mattel to their dying breath.
If these same QC issues kept happening over and over with another line, no one would be so quick to forgive the manufacturer.
It just never ceases to amaze me how many QC issues Mattel WWE collectors are willing to overlook. Especially at $20 PLUS a figure!
Pathetic... simply pathetic.

But...paint smudges are an incredibly simple fix. A minor annoyance at worst.

the problem with pre-ordering things is that things like this get fixed in the factory on the future releases, you may get it first... but good luck getting perfect 100%! IMO

My Samoa Joe has an extremely loose left wrist, black marks above his eyebrows, the red paint on his trunks is too transparent and his right shoulder joint is pretty messed up, the arm won't bend back all the way.
Gonna wait to find the rest at retail or from ebayers I trust. This hobby has had many dark days for me lately.

The most reliable store in my area, a Walmart, frequently skips entire series due to them ordering way too many shelf warmers. Some years they will only gets 2-3 series at most, it's brutal.

Perfect examples of the reason I buy all my figures at retail. The Owens issue is typical of the utterly ridiculous painted torsos Mattel are content with lumbering is with.

Is Owens' neck painted? So the paint is like scraped off?
