Ugh please people get off the Phil "CM Punk" Brooks crap. He's not coming back. This is as close to saying never as you can. And yes, I know people who know Punk and they have told me that he said he'd rather drink then go back to Vince. Take that for what it's worth. I've never met Punk nor ever spoke to him. But the guys I know have been friends with him since the LWF days and I believe what they are telling me. Brooks is 100% focused on the UFC and will crawl to the octagon if he has to.
Anyway. I like Brock in the WWE but I didn't care for him in the UFC. With that, I would laugh my ass off if Brock loses at UFC 200. He can go back to the WWE as part of the "NEW" Social Outcasts.

Its either a receipt from Rhonda's appearance @ Mania 30, which is a chitty payoff.... Or something much bigger. Its RARE for a company or someone to get a better deal from Vince. I see Rhonda doing a program.... Hell I know I'm dreaming, but imagine McGregor coming to WWE for a program.
Weather that stuff goes down is speculation. But I bet that Vince is being compensated.
I almost forgot got about the actual fight. Being a advid UFC fan, Brock is deff have his work cut out for him. Hunt is a heavy hitter and a tuff takedown. Lesnar is going to have to be on his A game to pull off the W.

Unless Lesnar gets Hunt down I can't see how he's going to win this. Hugely worried for him in fairness. If he loses at 200, then not only is his UFC Career done but his legitimate fighter Gimmick in the WWE is also dead in the water.

I would never be able to take Brock seriously again as a "unbeatable monster" in WWE if he gets TKO'd within seconds at UFC 200.

Stay in the WWE pool please, your're drowning in the MMA pool. There's a substantial difference here. Lesnar's previous MMA losses came when he was solely a contracted UFC fighter with absolutely no ties to WWE anymore. Not to mention, he had the built in excuse of diverticulitis (whether or not that matters is irrelevant, it's the narrative he's constructed.) Lesnar's WWE stock has taken a significant hit in the last year or so, and now he's going out to another venture, as an underdog, while under contract with WWE. If you can't see that getting knocked out in the first round, and then showing up on WWE TV 3 weeks later to start a main event level Summerslam program doesn't hurt his perceived value, I don't know what to tell you.

Fans know he's still a badass and would kick just about every ass on the roster in a shoot fight. He's still perceived as tough because he is WILLING to go out there and fight. You don't see any other wrestlers taking opportunities at a shoot fight, do you? Losing won't hurt his him at all in the WWE world, IMO. I mean, most mma fans hate wrestling anyway so they aren't changing their mindsets regardless. Casual fans will see the fight, and if Brock loses, I don't see anyone's grandmother laughing at Brock and saying his WWE stock just dropped. Mark Hunt would beat the out of all of us. Plain and simple. Losing in the UFC does not de-value Brock Lesnar in the wrestling world at all. At least he has the balls to actually do it. He will still be a legit fighter who's a badass. Now if Brock came back and had a flippity floppity gymnastics recital match like Ricochet-Ospreay then that would de-value him. Brock's lost in UFC multiple times. He was the Undisputed champion, too. Brock will be fine.

He was the Undisputed champion, too. Brock will be fine. Completely disagree, but, it is what it is. Let's just say the plan is for Brock Lesnar to put over Roman clean at Summerslam, just for a hyphothetical. Does it mean more if Roman pins a guy who just won a real fight, and does it mean less if Brock just got his ass handed to him by Hunt a month prior? I think the answer to both of those questions is unequivocally, "yes." Differences in legitimacy aside, both UFC and WWE hang their hats on presenting resolutions to conflict via violence. They are not dissimilar enough in nature to completely disassociate. If Lesnar wins the fight, you can bet WWE is going to mention it every single moment they can to capitalize on his momentum, and the value he will have brought himself. If he loses, they're going to pretend it never happened and hope the fans forget too. I never insinuated Brock wouldn't be "fine." Of course he'll be fine. He's a genetic, enigmatic, once in a lifetime freak. That doesn't mean he's impervious to devaluation. Just look at the last year of his WWE career. This is a calculated risk, on everybody's part, to bring some of Brock's aura back.

Even if he loses, I can't see it seriously impacting his WWE character. The man is a once-in-a-lifetime talent and when he shows up, you know you're gonna witness some carnage. His mystique is independent of reality and can't really be damaged at this point. He got huge buyrates in UFC even though its fans have a disdain for wrestling, and he'll do huge numbers again even though his MMA record isn't very good.
Like, does anybody care (or even remember) that when he first came back to WWE he lost all the time to Cena and Triple H? Did that make his ending of the streak or squash of Cena for the title any less believable? In my eyes it did not. Whether he wins or loses he's still Brock Lesnar, and that's an attraction in and of itself.

I think win or lose, this fight just adds to Lesnar's gimmick that he is a FIGHTER, and he wants to hurt people.
Mark Hunt has knocked out a whos-who of Heavyweight contenders, so Brock better come prepared with his wrestling and not just stand and trade with him.

Lesnar already lost his aura after both Velasquez and Overeem embarrassed him. As for a possible (or probable) loss to Hunt "de-valuing" him, from a WWE standpoint... his valuation to the company has been over inflated since the day he returned.

One or two heavy shots from Hunt, and Brock will fold like an accordion. He'd better go for an early takedown, because if he doesn't, he's ed.

I think if Lesnar gets knocked out in the first round, and returns at summer slam, his stock will be the same. He'll be the same ol brock and get the same response from the wwe audience. In my opinion

Win or loss his stock will remain good in WWE. If anything it's Hunt who has the most to lose, which means nothing to WWE.

I'm betting on Brock to win his comeback fight. He's a monster and at 100% he can take Hunt down.
