Cause I really liked those, sure some of them were way too gimmicky for my liking, but it was fun to mix and match parts to come up with wrestlers/gimmicks or to make job guys for an old school wrestling fed. I'd love to see more of them made, heck I just picked up some extra sets for spare parts. Though it sucks they're still full price at retail, makes it hard to commit to buying another Kane set for black tights for example.

I will continue to buy them as long as they keep being made, but im afraid after the final set with sting that immediately went on clearance at most stores is sign that the line has ended.

They're pretty cool. I never bought any but that doesn't mean that I didn't like them. I hope for those who buy them that it isn't cancelled.

Sadly,I didn't even get this set? I never saw the Rusev, Warrior, Ambrose, Goldust or heck, any of the sets after the Roman/Taker/Orton ones that came out. Again, sure some of them were cheesy like zombie Taker or the Rusev bear one. But I liked them for the parts because you could still make some fun things with them, be it outlandish stuff if you wanted or straight forward guys.

If the parts were compatible with the regular figures I would have been more of a supporter. I bought the Bray Wyatt set for the mask and apron but didn't like the feel of the figure (softer rubber/plastic). Most of us here felt this line wouldn't last long to begin with.

Good Riddance, From the first time I set eyes on this idea I said that it was going to completely flop. It's one thing to provide people with parts to create their own figures, but to give us useless over the top crap like wings, body armor and horns is just pointless.

if they were just copies of the Immortals character designs I would have enjoyed them more.

I feel like nothing that came out really spoke to me until they started doing the individual packs of just like ring gear or referee clothes then it was cool but by then it was too late

I liked that it gave bill an opportunity to give us other accessories that we may not have gotten otherwise

I think so, but weren't there some retail leaks for a similar line, but re-branded? Maybe it's being reconfigured. It's a great idea and I don't know why it hasn't caught on yet.

I feel like it should be exclusive to a store and not die off completely. I walked into a Walmart once and saw the Rusev/Warrior/Goldust figures and a week later they were all gone. Sometimes I feel like it's because they get put on clearance, but I've seen a lot of them move when not on clearance as well. But can we just agree that clearance or not it's doing better than the HOF line? That $10 sale couldn't rid my local Target of the twenty Titos they have there.

I'd imagine that they're a hard sell, which explains why they might kill off the line, sadly. Kids might not want them because instead of getting bootleg John Cena, you can get a real Cena fig with accessories and what not. Collectors probably didn't want them because they were a gimmick line. Plus, having wings, fireballs, and other weird accessories took away from it a bit. I didn't mind them as I stated, but I did wish this whole time we got more traditional parts. Bare legs with knee pads, generic white/black wrist tape, boots, tights, etc. You can make do with things and some of the parts are cool like the fuzzy Brody boots or whatever, but I wanted to make wrestlers, not characters and some of them didn't work for that.

The only one I've bought was the Hogan. The rest I've seen are pretty outlandish.

As a kid I mainly played with the Remco AWA figures. I would always head swap, apply make-up, switch outfits, use belts from other toy lines, the crown from He-Man's King Randor, etc to customize or create new wrestlers. So I get what Mattel was trying to accomplish here. I just think they missed the mark. Maybe when I was a kid I would want to make a gladiator or falcon or whatever because it wasn't uncommon to see a character like that appear on TV. However, over the top characters are not anything kids today are familiar with. I have two children of my own and friends with kids as well and none of them have any desire to turn Seth Rollins into a Mortal Kombat type character.

Those ages clearly do not reflect who they are marketed to. Elite Flashbacks may say 8+ but they're clearly being made for adult collectors and not kids. No 8 year old wants Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart or Jerry Sags.
