Sorry to hear - i find it kinda gross that so many seem to be celebrating over this, but Ive just never been that kind of person. Hope he isnt goin down a wrong road and that it is only some kind lf supplement mix up, etc but we will see. The silver lining is if that Dean title win was a result though Just callin it like it is

Did they say what the drugs were? Or if it was even drugs Not yet and its what makes some of the white Knights in this thread more funny. For all we know it could have been a banned supplement or some pot, and some defensive people here are acting like he's been on a 4 day coke binge fighting cops on a downward spiral of self destruction. Until then, I'm just going to look at him as the undeserving character who has been handed everything for two years, and slipped up with something basic. Their policy has been to fine for marijuana, not suspend, unless it's a traffic incident like Van Dam. As previously stated, for Reigns' own personal sake, I hope it was nothing more than him taking a legal supplement that he was unaware contained a banned substance. I've seen some speculation that it could've been synthetic marijuana. Hopefully that isn't the case. That crap is dangerous.

Ah, you're right I think I misread what happened to Swagger and based it off of that. I found this: 15. PENALTIES A. FOR POSITIVE DRUG TESTS OTHER THAN MARIJUANA AND ALCOHOL First Violation:First Violation: In the event of an initial positive test for substances prohibited by this Policy other than marijuana and alcohol, the WWE Talent shall be suspended for thirty (30) days, fined an amount equal to thirty (30) days, pay deducted from the WWE Talent’s downside guarantee on a weekly basis and WWE will publicly disclose the WWE Talent’s name and duration of the suspension and indicating a first violation the Policy. But the real question is...how soon until we get a figure? Ask on the Mattel board, without a question mark, not in the Suggestion Box area.

From here - corporate.wwe.com/what-we-do/talent/abuse-and-drug-testing-policy100% sure this failed drug test was known the day of MITB, and that the main event for Battleground was booked as a triple threat match in name only. There was never any intent to have this 3 way happen now. Here's why: 1) Looked like Roman just got done crying or something during his entrance. My friend and I were commenting about why Roman's nose was all red and eyes teary. 2) Title was taken off Reigns cleanly. 3) 3 Shield members booked in a main event match at a C level PPV. Watch for Reigns to be taken out before his entrance setting up a one on one. So, WWE knew Reigns failed, but didn't want to strip the title off him. They needed to punish him. So they go with a clean pin on Reigns. Rollins needs an opponent for Battlground and it can't be Reigns since he just failed a test. They went with a cash in to set up a feud with Ambrose and Rollins so that when Reigns is suspended, there is still a main event storyline. The 3 way was announced as a way to throw off the scent that something was coming down the pike for Reigns. The 3 way will be saved for Summerslam as Reigns will be attacked backstage and unable to compete.

The 3 way will be saved for Summerslam as Reigns will be attacked backstage and unable to compete. I don't think this is the case. There was already speculation that Vince and company had cooled off on Roman coming out of Money in the Bank. If they didn't intend on moving forward with the triple threat match, it would've been easy to protect Reigns by just having Seth win via countout, or have Reigns get disqualified for losing his cool, whatever. They could've very easily set up a one on one match to write Reigns out of the title picture for a month if that's what they wanted. People wouldn't have speculated anything other than Roman possibly falling out of favor, which, like I said, everyone was already doing anyway. Not to mention, they announced the suspension 12 or so hours later. I'm a huge advocate for saving the triple threat match for Summerslam, but I very much doubt that's the plan. WWE has made a habit out of beefing up all the Pay-Per-Views in the Network era, because they don't want people to drop off during "down months", which would certainly describe July. This is similar to them giving away Rollins/Lesnar at Battleground last year, despite the non-finish. That felt like a Summerslam match.

I don't remember why or how, but Wyatts vs Shield seems like it could've (should've) been done at a bigger event than Elimination Chamber '14.
