He's amazingly convincing. He seems like a legitimate piece of crap on tv and at house shows and then you listen to a shoot interview and realize he's a cool, sensible dude who plays his role perfectly.

I agree. It's like he's a normal bunghole. He doesn't go above and beyond, it's like yeah I'm an bunghole so what?

Owens has mastered the art of being a heel. To perfection. Not even joking, if they allow him to flourish, and he has a lengthy career...we could be talking in 10 years about Kevin Owens being the greatest heel in the history of the business

Owens is all-in. It's incredibly easy to tell nowadays where so many guys aren't all-in. He really wants you to hate him.
The hard part about what he's doing in 2016 though is how incredibly good he is at it. So a portion of the audience loves him even despite the fact he's doing absolutely everything he can to get you to hate him. If the KO character exists in 1994, people are throwing garbage at him in the ring. It's a tough time to be a true heel, but Owens keeps plugging away. I'm not shocked at all he's doing what he's doing, and how well he's doing it.

It's a shame that the current environment doesn't really allow for him to be an effective heel, because he'd be great at it. He does go for the cool heel points too much though, compared to the likes of Miz and current Jericho. I'm interested in his eventual babyface run. He's a lot of fun to watch.
