I recently recognized that Elite 42 Kalisto is taller than my Sin Cara. I love my figures based on their height and sizes but, Mattel has the parts to make a figure smaller like Rey, Hunico, Hornswoggle, El Torito and the Divas. So why is Kalisto taller? I would like future Elite Kalisto figures to be smaller in parts and size. Just like he is in real life. ![]() ![]() (Sorry my image isn't popping up of those two figures next to each other) |

Hunico isn't the same as Mistico. All Sin Cara elites have been Mistico.

i been saying for at least a year...that this was going to be a problem.
They're still using the mold for Mistico as Sin Cara....even tho Mistico hasn't been Sin Cara for 3+ years.
Hunico is 5'10 205
Mistico was the same size as Kalisto.

They have added the tattoo make it appear like hunico. But they are still using the parts when mistico was playing him.
It sucks, and it's something that does need addressed.

Hopefully someone can tag MattelDesignTeam onto this thread. Kalisto needs to be fixed. They do a lot of the other figures justice in their size and shape.

This guy is still saying six Kalisto...Put him next to elite Rey Mysterio. Theyre supposed to be the same height. If they arent, then yes fix Kaliso, but if they are then its Sin Cara in e44 that needs to be fixed...

Well when one of the things you've got going for your action figure line is "scale", it might be an issue that needs to be addressed. |

You do realize that theres like a two inch difference between hall/nash and konnor/viktor right its pretty negligible. Nash is 6'9 Hall is 6'7, Konnor is 6'4 Vik is 6'2. Also Enzo could be a smidge shorter, but he's a basic figure with a mohawk, do he looks an inch or 2 taller in scale. I dont see the problem when its 2" in 1:12 scale especially in the basic line |

I'm annoyed that we are 6+ years in and Mattel is still churning out the same old parts on a lot of figures.
One example of many:
Always using a useless triple h water bottle hand every time on the flat 2 dimensional shark fin "large" arms (which need to be retired).
it's great that we get new parts on new figures that need them.
But for figures that don't "need" them? Come on 6 yrs later, let's freshen up some configurations already.

Slow your role chief. We just got Ryback with a non Diva build. You think we're going to get a better scaled Hunico? Come on now. I'm still waiting on an even remotely accurate Mr. Perfect Elite.
(Just for clarification, I'm being sarcastic. This sh*t is ridiculous and should have been corrected, literally, years ago. Just pointing out how long these kind of changes actually take to make, if ever)

I remember the topic coming up when the Elite 32 Sin Cara came out. I think Mattel's response was something like the difference wasn't significant enough to spend money retooling the figure when they could use that budget money somewhere else. Personally I feel like giving him longer calves wouldn't be a huge hit to the budget. But he could also use a different torso. Hunico has a more classic luchador upper body than Mistico. He's beefier has more mass to his upper body.
