Okay, so my collection has grown out of control and I need to invest some cash into some new shelving or display cabinets. What are some of the options you guys use that are affordable? I already know about the detlof Ikea shelves and I want some bad, but the closest Ikea is 400 miles from me and shipping would be over $400 to get 1 of them to me. lol What are some other options? Pictures of your collection displayed would be helpful as well.

Displaying them on the wall with tacks or pegs may actually work. Greg's collection makes heavy use of that.

It is honestly the best way to display loose figures, anything short u will regret.

Have a look on the secondary market for shelving, maybe eBay? Or Craigslist. For value for money check out Ikeas Billy bookcases, dead cheap and you can add to them, more shelves, link them together etc

Go to some tag sales/ garage sales. You'll be surprised at the type of things you can find. I have bookcase to display my loose collection works great but I keep buying so I need to get something bigger

I have had luck finding stuff at tag sales, but try IKEA in their clearance section. They always have random shelves people don't want lol.
