He was killing it merch wise, was over as hell and the rug was swept from up under him for what? They split the Club up 2 months into it, doesn't make damn sense!

I agree, hopefully he turns face down the line but maybe not too soon as 3 of the top guys on Smackdown are all faces already

To let AJ shine on his own, while having BALOR run the club like in NJPW.

He was too bland as a face and he should be given a chance to continue as a heel on his own because he's been good at it with the club.

I really don't think they had any idea what they were doing in the draft when they turned him. Hell, they probably made the decision to split them at 7:55 tonight.
AJ has been better as a heel thus far, anyway. He's been cutting arguably the best promos of his career.
Still not sure about Gallows and Anderson joining Finn, though. They dropped the Balor Club trademark.

Hopefully they'll pull some trade stuff before Monday or Sunday. Splitting up the Club and Wyatts made no sense. Just like calling Mojo up made no sense.

The most obvious (and probably correct) answer is that they didn't plan anything ahead of time. They didn't know what they were going to do for the draft, and it's clear they have zero long-term plans for Gallows or Anderson other than jobbing them out to whichever heel needs to look strong on any given night. I'm not even sure that they have any idea what they're doing with AJ beyond his feud with Cena - which he's now going to, of course, lose because the next time they got one-on-one there won't be any Club, and Cena will likely beat AJ cleanly in the middle of the ring.

Mojo being called up is idiotic, fair enough if they were going to pair him up with Ryder, but he's currently getting a *slight* push singles wise. Makes not much sense at all
