As for Belfour, he has been one of my favorite goalies from the days of the Blackhawks. I really do wish that he could able to win a Cup one more time before he retires. But I do have a feeling that he isn't going to retire this year, but next year. I often wonder if The Eagle will pull an Cujo, by not resigning with the Leafs but with a Cup Contender. But I just don't see The Eagle doing that to the Maple Leafs. If Eddy did leave? They got a great goalie in the young Tellvisgt (sp?) If an Canadian team doesn't win the Cup this year, I can see either The Hurricanes or The Rangers. For whatever reason, I'm visioning a Los Angeles/Rangers finals.. And yeah, Telly's a great goalie. And for a team that had terrible depth in terms of goalies over the past couple of seasons, we're suddenly stacked. This year's first-round draft pick, Tuuka Rask.. Justin Pogge [who'll probably be Canada's starter for the Juniors], Jean-Francois Racine, and Todd Ford.

Why is there no love for my Flames? Sure they had a shakey start, but they've been consistantly good since Regher came back. Ottawa? Pffft. Scoring 5 million goals a game ain't special. The most ice-packs used by opposing teams? That's a stat I can get behind.
